"Is the appearance of Elijah our 7--Day Warning?"

I have been one of the main proponents of a 7--day warning, like Noah received.  The Orthodox Jews believe that Elijah will return on a future Passover, so they leave a plate at the table for him to join them, on the 1st Day of Passover.  If Renee M's date of the 7th Day of Passover, Mar. 31st--Apr. 1st, 2013, is the correct day for our Rapture/SD, then we should be possibly looking for Elijah to make his appearance on Mar. 25--26th, if we are still here at that time.  What an awesome 7--Day Warning that would be!  The unbelievers surely would not believe it was Elijah, and neither would most Christians.  Only the Watchers would receive this warning (with Elijah as one of the two witnesses in Revelation).  It sounds very plausible to me.
Renee has been making a VERY, VERY strong case for Easter Sunday night, the 7th Day of Passover, to be the time of the Rapture this year.  I strongly encourage all of you to read her recent posts and/or visit Renee's website at:

"Final Countdown and the Proof that the Waiting is Over"

If this is the final countdown (and by all appearances that's what it is looking like) then here are some thoughts.

Remember in the parable of the ten virgins, someone comes and announces that the groom is coming.

Matthew 25... 6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’

Who is this person making this announcement?  The Holy Spirt?  An angel?

Read Malachi 4 verse 5... Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet

Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

At passover, pious Jews traditionally set a place for Elijah at the table for the seder meal in anticipation of his arrival.  Even the wine is poured for him as the celebrants fill their own cups for the third cup of wine.

It is a custom to have the young children to open the door for Elijah during the meal while everyone watches his cup of wine to see if it diminishes in the least bit as a sign that he has come.

If this the final countdown, Elijah will appear and announce that bridegroom is coming!  His appearance would be proof positive that the waiting is over!
