"RE: Stacy Raborn: 03.13.13"

That was a lot of fun to read.

I think of two important weddings in my life, my wife & I, and my daughter & son-in-law.

However, being a man, I am unable to really grasp the greatness and emotional joy that a wedding can be for a bride.

I often wondered about some things.

Does the bride feel like everything in her whole life has led up to that very moment?

What does a bride feel & think the moment the music starts and she begins to walk in?

How does the bride feel when she sees her groom waiting for her at the altar?

What is going on in the heart of the bride as she exchanges vows with her beloved?

Can all these wonderful & exciting things take her breath away?

I have wondered, what will the church, the bride of Christ be experiencing at the marriage, her marriage with the Lamb, the LORD Jesus?

Having only been a man, I cannot full understand or appreciate what it will be like.

Women Christians here on FiveDoves have helped men like me catch a glimpse of what it will be like.

What you wrote was actually like that.

While reading what you, and also what Linda said, I could almost feel like I was there already, a touch of what it will feel like.

So, thank you for opening up that scene to me.
