design of God's Word.

One dramatic example from past articles is this:

First mention of Jared (means "Descend", Strong's 3382h) is found in
Genesis 5:15.

This verse has a total gematria value of 2600.

Here is a new example following that same method -

I felt like the Lord said to read Number 16:33. I had no idea what
that verse was about - here it is:

"They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit,
and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the
congregation."

If you read the whole chapter, and you have to to understand the
story, then you know who "they" are. Korah, Dathan and Abiram. They
rebelled against Moses, and thus the Lord. This story is unique in
that the punishment for their rebellion was for they and their
families to be swallowed by the earth and go down alive into Sheol
(the Pit).
