"To J.L.Wray on your very important letter"

Thank you for that newsletter from Rick Warren, the pastor of Saddleback Church, and prolific author of The Purpose Driven Life and other books.

The evangelical community has been suspicious of Rick Warren for a long time, thinking him to be a leader in "Laodicea" and even apostasy.  His statement on his newsletter refutes these things.  He declares faith in the Trinity, in Christianity as unique and not paired with Islam, declares his and his church's purpose to spread the gospel of Jesus.

I am sure there may be others who have comments which would refute what Warren specifically says.  Or stories about people led away from Christ or harmed by the
gospel as preached by Warren.  I have heard LOTS of those.

However, this letter by him unequivocally states his faith in the Lord Jesus as our sole Savior, and explains in detail how this is.  I suggest everyone read it.  I myself can never find back issues of Doves, but I know most of you are more computer-proficient than I am.  Read it.  It's important.  We need to know who are our friends.
It's on March 5, 2012 Doves.

If Warren does not believe in the soon-coming rapture, well, most of the Christians in the world do not believe that.  As Chuck Missler said, "I'll explain it to you on the way up."
