THE FLOOD and the GIANTS

In this study we will take a look at another controversial subject; who are the Giants, and how they came to be before and after the Flood. I want to thank all of you who have taken the time to read these studies, and also everyone who has written to let me know how they feel on the issue. I have been as objective as possible when researching all this, and that is what made it so interesting.

Before we dissect the word, let’s recall the Mark of Cain. Scripture never tells us exactly what this mark is, at least not at the time God gave it to him. Yet, as we follow his line of descendants, “the daughters of men”, we see that there is a mating that takes place with the “sons of God”, that strangely enough, produces “giants”. The “giants” that were produced by this mating, are not extraterrestrial. They are the result of Spiritual men mating with the women of fallen men. Now let us look at the Bible verses in question and see if we cannot prove this thesis.

What stands out first, upon researching the word in Strong’s Concordance, is that the word “giants” is used only thirteen times in the whole Bible, and only in the Old Testament. After the Book of Josiah, the word is never used again. The next thing that stands out is that three, of those thirteen times, the meaning is different than the other ten. Let us first look into the most general meaning of the word, used in these ten verses, which is H-7497.

Side note: Just out of curiosity, and because many people equate the three names above with being fallen angels, I looked each one up in the Bible. Rapha is the name of two people, one is the fifth son of Benjamin (1Ch. 8:2) and one is listed in the genealogy of a man named Moza, (1Ch. 8:37). Therefore, they are not names of fallen angles, they are men. These men were more “spiritual giants” than “physical giants”. Rephaim refers to a place, the Valley of Rephaim. This place is mentioned 6 times in the Old Testament and all of them have the same meaning, a place. Rephaims, on the other hand are a tribe of people, who are all from the genealogy of Cain’s descendants.

Now, let’s look at those three unique passages, where the definition of the word “giants” is different from all the rest. The first one is found in Genesis 6, verse 2, along with the “sons of God” and the “daughters of men”, which we have already discussed. In fact, this is the only time in the Book of Genesis that these giants are mentioned.

“There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men, which were of old, men of renown.”

The next time the word “giants” is used in the Old Testament is in the Book of Numbers, where we find the second and the third usage of this word. They are actually in the same chapter and the same verse; Numbers 33:13.

(Side note: It would seem that the word means “size” in this usage. It also explains the words in Gen.6:4 “and after that”. Obviously the “giants” in this verse, are related to the “giants” in Genesis 6, and this is the last time, that this specific type of giant is referred to in the rest of the Bible.

“napal”; a primitive root; to fall, in a great variety of applications (intransitively or causatively, literally or figuratively): -- case out, cast down, cease, divide, fall away, fall down, fugitive, inferior, be lost, overwhelmed, perish.

Because we have already discovered who the “sons of God” and “daughters of men” are, we know these unique ‘giants’ are the result of the mating of the pure seed of Seth with the corrupt seed of Cain; whom God had made a “giant”. There were giants before the Flood that the Lord wanted to wipe from the face of the earth, and then “after that”.

It is my contention that these giants are fallen men, from the seed of Cain, they are not fallen angels. They were giants in many other ways than just in size, they were giants intellectually, and in the case of the mighty men of old and the men of renowned, they are also giants in a ‘spiritually religious sense’.

In recap and just for fun, let’s see who the sons of Anak are, those giants mentioned in Numbers 33:13. We already know that they are descendants of the giants mentioned in Genesis, so let’s see who Anak is

According to Strong’s, it is made very clear that he is of the bloodline of Cain; but after the Flood. God wanted to destroy these giants before they took over the whole earth by bringing the Flood, but we can see that they still remained after the Flood.

The one thing that we do know about them is they are definitely not extraterrestrial fallen angels. The final thing that we will look into, before going on to the Flood, is the linage of seed line of both Cain and Seth.

The pure seed line of Cain ends with the three sons of Lamech (which was Cain’s great grandson). These three sons are named Jabal, Jubul and Tubal-cain. A couple interesting notes here: in the genealogy of the Cainite race only one woman is listed as the daughter, and her name is Naamah, she is the sister of Tubal-cain. Tubal-cain had a different mother than Jabal and Jubal, so possibly this is why her mother was most likely a Sethite. The fact that she is listed means something, because no other daughters or sisters are mentioned, by name, in either the genealogy of Cain or of Seth. Her importance will come to light shortly when we get into what happened after the Flood.

The pure seed line of Seth ends with Noah. We know this because the Lord mentions that everyone in Seth’s seed line produces both sons and daughters. After every descendent in the genealogy of Seth it states this: “and begat sons and daughters”. Only the sons are mentioned in Cain’s seed line with the above exception of Naamah.

It is most likely that if a Sethite man married a Cainite woman, they could only have sons, but if a Sethite woman married a Cainite man, they could have both sons and daughters. We know that Noah was the last of the pure seed line because in the genealogy of Seth, Noah is the last person mentioned and we see that Noah had three sons, and no mention of daughters.

Things were getting so bad on earth, so much evil and destruction. The race of giants was taking over everything, and the inter-mating had corrupted all flesh. God tells us in Gen. 6:12;

The only man that God can find, upon the earth, that still worships Him, in Spirit and in Truth, is Noah. God tells us that Noah walked with Him; this means that Noah had a personal relationship with God. Remember, that Cain was spiritually religious, he did not worship in truth, having rejected God’s provided way of worship, and so had all of Cain’s descendants. This false religion had spread across the whole earth, that very same false religion that man still worships today. (Can you believe how much happens within the first few chapters of the Bible, so much information, if understood correctly, could enlighten so many people to the truth?)

The end of all flesh is the end of the pure Sethic seed line, which ends with Noah. There are no more sons of Adam, there are only sons of Cain and giants that are using up all the resources of the earth, and because of their great size, have even resorted to cannibalism. At this point, all other flesh has been corrupted. Noah is the end of the line, the only man left that worships God in Spirit and in Truth.

Side Note: It is interesting to note here, that Noah and his family, and all the animals went on to the ark seven days before the waters of the flood were upon the earth. Many believe this foreshadows the Rapture and the Tribulation, and that the rapture will happen before the seven year tribulation begins. The bride of Christ will be in Heaven, while the horrors of the tribulation are happening on earth. We will cover this later, but it is something to consider when the Lord once again destroys all evil mankind and cleanses the earth with fire.

This also reflects the difference between water baptism and the baptism by fire. The Lord wanted to destroy natural man that had mated with fallen man and corrupted all flesh. Even the Sons of God were mating with the daughters of Cain, and giants were the result. Now, not only flesh and bone was corrupted, but also flesh and blood. Thus, man born of blood and water, cannot be saved until he is born again by the fire of the Holy Spirit. God destroys earth with water and fire, and man shall be saved by water and fire. Interesting!

“And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and everything which is in the earth shall die.” (Gen. 6:17).

But, before we look into that, we must remember what the Lord told us about the giants back in Genesis 6:4; “there were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that,”; these few words mean a great deal, “and after that”; meaning after He destroys the earth in a flood. How can that be? We shall see when we look into what takes place after the flood.

Noah was the last of the pure seed line of Seth, and the Flood killed off the seed line of Cain and natural man, or so we may be lead to believe except for those three little words God spoke about the giants, “and after that”. What did He mean?

Noah, being the last of the pure blood line of the Sethites, married the sister of Tubal-cain, Naamah. Noah is one of those “sons of God” that married one of the “daughters of men”. Even though Naamah’s mother was most likely a Sethite, she is still half Cainite. You may remember her being mentioned in the genealogy of the last of the pure seed of Cain.

She is a direct descendant of Cain. That is why Noah only has sons and no daughters. Therefore, Noah’s three sons, Ham, Shem, and Japheth, are not only of the seed line of Noah, but also of the seed-line of Cain. So the seed of Cain continues even after the flood because it was taken on the ark, and will be passed down to all mankind from this point on.

The Flood had destroyed all the pure Serpent seed, and no literal Serpent seed exists today. But, the evil and beastly nature of the Serpent is present in the whole human race, for we are all of the same blood. We are descendants of Ham, Shem, or Japheth, who carried a mixture of the blood of righteous Noah, a Sethite, and his wife, who was a Cainite.

Before we go on, let us look at a few instances in the New Testament where Jesus is speaking to the religious Pharisees and Sadducee, of His day, to reaffirm that men still exist from the seed line of the Serpent through Cain and his descendants.

Mat 3:7 “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducee come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?”

Mat 23:35 “That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.”

These verses, spoken by Jesus, himself, makes it perfectly clear that men like this are still around and, in fact, are the most religious men of all!! Christ calls them vipers and serpents, and even accuses them of having something to do with killing Abel!!! Who else could he be referring to if not Cain and his descendants!!!! And, please note that these are men, not fallen angels, nor are they physical giants, but they are giants of RELIGION, from the seed line of Cain!!

Why does God make a point of telling us that Ham is the father of Canaan? Why does He tell us about Ham’s fourth son, years before that son is even conceived? Because He wants to alert the reader to what is going to happen next.

Many years pass, long enough for Noah to grow a vineyard and drink of the harvest, and for Ham to already have three sons. The next time we see Canaan mentioned is a few verses later:

Ham saw Noah’s ‘nakedness’. Remember what the word “nakedness” means when the Lord uses it? It means blemish, or shame. What would be Noah’s blemish or shame as he is a pure seed; he knows the Lord and the Gospel. Noah’s shame and the blemish, on his seed line, is his Cainite wife, Naamah. Not only that, in Leviticus 18:8, the Lord defines the term “nakedness” very clearly;

Ham uncovered his father’s nakedness which was his wife. He had sex with Naamah, his own mother; she was Noah’s nakedness in both body and spirit. She was his shame and blemish, and also his wife. Ham is ¼ Cainite by birth, and his mother is a half breed Cainite, therefore the offspring of this union would produce a child that was much more Cainite, than Sethite; thus, diluting, even further, the seed line of his Sethite father, Noah.

The result of that mating was Canaan, a giant. Even his name, which the Lord gave us before his conception, tells us that he will be from the seed line of Cain, and will stand out as different from the rest of Hams sons. In fact, all the giants, after the Flood, are named after this child of incest. When Noah came to know about what happened he curses Ham, saying; “Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.” (Gen. 9:25).

Canaan was the fruit of Ham’s incestuous act with his mother and he becomes the father of the Canaanites; all giants like the Jebusites, the Amorites, and many others that dwelt in the land of Canaan.

Let’s pause here, a moment, and look at what has happened in just the first 9 Chapters of the Book of Genesis, and this book has 50 chapters! Already we have so much information about so many things!! Mainly, we have learned who God is, He is The Creator. We have learned about what He created, He created everything, including Lucifer, and his fallen angels. We have learned that there was free will in the Garden; God warned Adam and Eve about the dangers of eating of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, but He did not prevent them from doing so. If God wanted to prevent them from doing so, he would have put an angel with a flaming sword around it, as He did The Tree of Life. We have learned that Adam and Eve were man and wife before the Fall, but did not have sex together until after the Fall.

We have learned that Eve had sex with the Serpent, thus committing the first act of adultery. We have learned what nakedness means, in the eyes of God. Spiritually it means shame or blemish, and physically it also means the nakedness of a man’s wife. Man became naked when he fell from timelessness (the Garden) into the realm of time, and became flesh and blood.

We have learned that Eve had twins, one of the seed of the Serpent and one of the seed of Adam. From these brothers we learn what pleases God and what does not. Abel pleases God because; number one, Abel has a personal relationship with God, he walks with God, and secondly, he knows the Gospel, and thirdly, he knows Jesus. Cain does not please God because Cain has a personal relationship with his father, the Serpent, and because of this relationship he also has the mind of the Serpent, which is filled with self-worship and pride. THIS IS THE BIRTH OF RELIGION!!!!

We have learned about the sons of God, which mated with the daughters of men, thus producing hybrid giants. We see how this hybrid seed-line is passed down through Noah’s three sons, because of Noah’s wife, Naamah. We see how the seed line of Cain is carried on the Ark and thus survives after the Flood.

Upon reflecting on what happened in the Garden, we can see that this spirit of the Anti-Christ was the spirit that Eve obeyed, when she ate of the Tree of Knowledge. The Serpent tempted Eve to put her mind, and body before her spirit. Eve understood the Serpent and obeyed the Serpent before she heard the voice of God. When Adam did the same thing, God had to throw them both out of the Garden before they ate of the Tree of Life; or His new creation would be bound to worship Satan, eternally.

This spirit of the Anti-Christ caused the Fall. Because Adam and Eve chose their minds and bodies over their spirits when they obeyed the Serpent, their minds were darkened, and their bodies would, now, grow old and die.

This spirit of the Anti-Christ is carried down through Cain’s seed line, and then through Noah’s seed line, via his wife, to his three sons. These three sons populate the whole earth after the Flood.

This spirit of the Anti-Christ is alive and well to this very day. Mankind no longer desires to hear God, obey God, and then understand God. They seek, instead, to understand themselves, by using their minds, souls, and bodies to connect with their own spirit.

Unfortunately this spirit they are hoping to connect with is not the Spirit of God; it is the spirit of Satan. In fact, in these end-times, this spirit, this false gospel, has taken over every religion on the planet, including Christianity.

In the Book of Revelation, chapter 17 verses 4-7, John, the author, is horrified when he sees who the Woman is that rides the Beast. This Woman is called Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth. This woman represents the One World Religion, The Harlot, which will ride the One World Government, the Beast. This One World Religion will be called Christianity!!!
