Asteroid to Threaten Earth in 2013

The signs of Christ's return are everywhere. If you are walking in the Word of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit, you should have a burning urgency to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ because time is running out. Jesus Christ specifically warned us about the signs in nature and in the skies. Those signs are: earthquakes, famines, plagues and disease, asteroids, falling stars, meteors, storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunami's, and floods. Just recently in America, once again storms hurricanes and tornadoes are smashing into Southern Indiana, Central Kentucky, Tennessee and will most likely affect Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi and Ohio.

This is just in America alone. In Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America there is all kind of freak weather! These are the "signs of the times," that Jesus Christ said would signal the end of the age. God is warning His people to get ready, fast, pray, repent and reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Jesus Christ said, "And there will be great earthquakes and from place to place famines and pestilences, and there will be frightful events and great signs from heaven." Luke 21:11

I believe the "signs of the times," have already begun. The seven year Tribulation Period is coming faster than we think. This along with all the other signs Christ warned about, are strong warnings for people to get ready for the Return of the Lord and bring in the harvest.

 

 

Asteroid to Threaten Earth in 2013

Jesus Christ said in the last days we would see the "signs of the time."

"And there will be great earthquakes and from place to place famines and pestilences, and there will be frightful events and great signs from heaven." Luke 21:11

"And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and there will be upon the earth anguish of the nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and rolling waves." Luke 21:25

"People fainting from fear and expectation because of what is coming upon the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken." Luke 21:26

Now, scientists have announced that an asteroid will pass dangerously close to the earth in February 2013. The 60-meter asteroid known as DA14 will pass within 16,700 miles. In scientific terms this is within a hair's breadth of earth and could cause a possible collision.

NASA expert Dr. David Dunham told students at Moscow's University of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM):

"The Earth's gravitational field will alter the asteroid's path significantly. Further scrupulous calculation is required to estimate the threat of collision," said Dr. Dunham, as transcribed by Russia's Izvestia. "The asteroid may break into dozens of small pieces, or several large lumps may split from it and burn up in the atmosphere. The type of the asteroid and its mineral structure can be determined by spectral analysis. This will help predict its behavior in the atmosphere and what should be done to prevent the potential threat,"

In the event of a collision, scientists have calculated that the energy released would equate to the destructive power of a thermo-nuclear bomb. Dunham also remarked, "The asteroid may split into pieces entering the atmosphere. In this case, most part of it will never reach the planet's surface."

However, it is possible if the asteroid crashes into the planet, the impact will be as hard as in the Tunguska asteroid impact blast in 1908 knocked down trees over a total area of 830 square miles in Siberia.

"And I will give wonders in the heavens and on the earth, Blood and fire and pillars of smoke." Joel 2:30

"The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and dreadful day of the Lord comes." Joel 2:31

Now immediately after the tribulation of those days, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL FROM HEAVEN, AND THE POWERS OF THE HEAVENS WILL BE SHAKEN." Matthew 24:29

"And at that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the nations of the earth will mourn. And they will see the SON OF MAN COMING UPON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory." Matthew 24:30

"But in those days, after that tribulation, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT." Mark 13:24

"AND THE STARS WILL BE FALLING from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken." Mark 13:25

Mark 13:26 And then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN THE CLOUDS with great power and glory.

"And I looked when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood, and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, like a fig tree drops its late figs when shaken by a strong wind, and the heaven was split like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved from their places." Revelation 6:12-14

 

It is important that you clearly understand that you are responsible to win souls for Jesus Christ! That is why Jesus Christ said, "God into all the world and preach the Gospel." If you are not winning souls, you are in direct disobedience to the Lord. No one knows when their time is up. I will never forget when a college-age woman came to our house with her mother, so that my wife and I could talk to her. The mother said she was having problems. At the time, I did not know how serious her mental state was because she acted perfectly fine in front of us. I believe that God sent that young woman to our house. We talked, but we did not get down to the heart of the matter and pray for her and lead her to Christ.

About a month later, we found out she was dead in the prime of her life. She was seriously depressed and killed herself. When I heard that, it was as if I was stabbed in the heart with a knife. I must confess to you I was not listening to the Lord, when we met her. My mind was preoccupied with other things and I failed to hear the voice of the Lord! There is no question in my mind that God was speaking to me about her and commanding me to minister to her. But, I allowed myself to be lulled to sleep because outwardly she appeared okay. I was shaken deeply and I have repented to the Lord many times, because I was not listening to the Lord!

Do not make the same mistake I made. If God is speaking to you about using the Are You Ready? DVD series to win souls, than you must obey Him and do it. But, pray and make sure that you are really listening! This is not just about this ministry and the "Are You Ready?" DVD series. The Lord uses other ministries and avenues as well. However, if you are really listening to the Lord, I guarantee you, that He is telling you to help some ministry to win souls. If that is the case, than make sure you are not just looking for an excuse. Make sure you take specific steps to obey the Lord! The Bible says, "He who wins souls is wise." There is a reason for that! Much of the modern church is apostate and they water down the Gospel by saying, "All ways to lead to God as long as you are sincere." Also, they teach, there is no such thing as hell and mock those that do as "fire and brimstone" preachers.

The Bible emphatically states that there is only one way into heaven and that is through Jesus Christ! All ways do not lead to heaven. Secondly, God is a "fire and brimstone" preacher, read the Bible. There is a coming day of judgment and a real hell. That is why saving souls is so important

The reality is that we live in a time when much of the church does not teach on Bible prophecy or the Book of Revelation. Millions do not know that Jesus Christ warned of pestilences and plagues in the last days. Tragically, much of the church has lost the passion to reach the lost! They have no passion to reach the lost, because they do not teach on heaven and the reality of hell

In the U.S. and globally all efforts would be made, no matter how destructive, to contain and destroy the outbreak. It is interesting to note, that in the Council on Foreign Relations, "Building a North American Community," 59-page document that was published in 2005, which calls for the merger of Canada, Mexico and the United States. Canada, Mexico and the U.S. work together in a coordinated effort to stop a bird flu pandemic
