"Mr. Warner..I have
few questions for you?"
(1) If the tribulation is intended for the Body of
Christ, why would the Lord send the 2 Witnesses (Elijah and
Moses). Which I believe represent the Law and the Prophets
instead of sending Peter and Paul or John and Peter etc.?
Haven't you ever thought about the Jewishness of the tribulation
period. It deals with Jews in Jerusalem and the Land of Israel.
(2) 12,000 out of each Tribe of Israel. (3) As I mentioned
earlier, why Elijah and perhaps Moses? Doesn't the Law and
Prophets sound Jewish in nature. (4) The Body of Christ is
totally under Grace, and you can't put the Body of Christ under
the Law or the Prophets in the tribulation period. You state in
one of your posts "Why would Jesus put a message to the end-time
unbelieving Jews in the New Testament of his word knowing full
well they would not be reading it in the end-times"? Again you
must realize this is a Jewish Book. The scriptures tell us that
the "Oracles" where given to the Jews. There are debates as to
whether Dr Luke was a Greek Jew? That would then perhaps make it
totally Jewish? (5) After the Rapture of the Body of Christ
(Born Again Jews and Gentiles...New Creatures in Christ) and the
tribulation begins "Jewish Eyes" will be opened. Scripture makes
it quite clear that the Jews where blinded for the sake of the
Gentiles and that they have scales on their eyes. After the
tribulation begins the scales will start to fall from their
eyes. I would think that from a scripture view point that
many Jews would then (when in doubt read the directions) start
diving into the Book even more so? The Greatest Revival in
history takes place during the tribulation period. Can you
imagine perhaps 144,000 Jewish converts like the Apostle Paul
scattered around the world. That is why there are so many Saints
that come out of the tribulation period that they can't
numbered. The Gospel of the Kingdom is preached..The King is
Coming. (6) The purpose of the tribulation is at least two fold
to finish the punishment for not allowing the ground to rest,
and for rejecting their Messiah, and for dealing with a Christ
rejecting (Gentile world) as the nations come against this
little speck of Land. Remember 1 Cor 10:32...Jews, Gentiles and
the Church of God (Body of Christ). (7) Just as the New
Testament makes it clear that one is dead spiritually until the
Holy Spirit shines the "Glorious Gospel Light of Salvation", the
Jews are dead until the scales begin to fall away and they see
their rejected Messiah. (8) What you need to realize is the Lord
is dealing with everyone now under the age of grace on an
Individual basis, and he will deal with people individually
during the tribulation, but he deals with the Nation of Israel
on a collective basis, as the Nations of the world come to
destroy her. That's why shortly after his second coming, he
deals with the gentile nations collectively. Mr. Warner the
tribulation is a purging process, the Lord is purging the Nation
of Israel, and preparing her for her King. Israel is Israel and
the Church is the Body of Christ. (9) My understanding is that
65 times in the New Testament the name Israel is mentioned, and
that 64 of the 65 times, it is speaking of the Nation of Israel.
The Church and the Nation of Israel are dealt with
separately, the Church is a Heavenly People, and the Nation of
Israel are an earthly people who will become the "Head of the
Nations"...God Bless, Jimmy
