Harry Potter destroys records around the world July 21, 2011Printed book sales slump
Sales of printed novels have fallen by a quarter in the first two months of this year due to the increased popularity of e-readers such as the Kindle.
The fall in sales of physical books has been attributed to the rapidly-growing popularity of Kindles and other e-readers, which display virtual books that are downloaded from the internet. In stark contrast to the decline in sales of physical books, e-book sales are soaring.
New ways to encounter the written word:
Every other form of media that's gone digital has been transformed by its audience.
Imagine a world where there's a URL for every chapter and paragraph in a book—every sentence, even.
When McKenzie Wark wrote Gamer Theory—an analysis of why people enjoy playing videogames—Harvard University Press published it as a conventional hardcover. But Wark also put it online using CommentPress. The free blog theme blew the book open into a series of conversations; every paragraph could spawn its own discussion forum for readers.
Sure enough, hundreds dove in, and pretty soon Gamer Theory had sparked knowledgable exchanges on everything from Plato's cave to Schopenhauer's ideas on boredom. Wark says, "It changed the way they read the book."

Eactly where it's leading-
Daniel
11:38
38.) But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
Daniel
11:39
39.) Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. What will unite those left behind after some of the earth's populace has been raptured and resurected? And what lie can be propagated effectively?
The resurrection theme is supposedly explored in JK Rowling’s seventh book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”. By the end of the book, Harry becomes the “Master of Death” and “resurrects” from the dead the spirits of his parents, his godfather, Sirius Black and his old teacher Remus Lupin.
Colleges such as Georgetown University, Liberty University, Pepperdine University and Stanford University are offering courses that examine the series from a literary or historical perspective, according to CNN.
Richard Albanes, author of “Harry Potter, Narnia, and the Lord of
the Rings: What You Need to Know About Fantasy Books and Movies”, also
rejected the comparisons drawn between the works of a Christian author like
CS Lewis and “Harry Potter.”“There is this whole movement within Christianity where people are
trying to say that the Harry Potter books are Christian novels. And
that is just untrue,” he told Christian Broadcasting Network in a past interview.Albanes said that while kids cannot replicate the magic in Lewis' and
J.R.R. Tolkien books, they can “really copy” the witchcraft that appears in
the Rowling’s books.“There is this crossover where the Wiccans know it, the occultists
know, the practitioners of all these things know it, and they are using
that curiosity that kids have for all of this stuff now through Harry
Potter to attract readers to their real world how-to manuals. I think
many parents and christians just don’t get that. They don’t understand,” he said. The strange god that the Prophet Daniel sees that increases with Glory (from the Latin gloria, "fame, renown") in ch.11:39 is none other than Harry Potter.
Guess who helps the Prince of Scotland with her popularity in obtaining the kingdom, Daniel 11:21?
Scotland's own famous author JK Rowling.
They'll be linked up soon, she isn't a fan of the current UK government's health reforms-
"I initiated and attended a mediation session, in the hope of sorting out long-standing and escalating conflict between the Scottish council and management in London, driven by the imposition of changes by London."
JK Rowling has been a great patron for the MS Society of Scotland for many years. JK Rowling's mother, Anne, was a fit 34-year-old when she began suffering from MS, she passed away at the age of 45.
