Daniel 9:24

"Seventy sevens are decreed for your people ........"  The first sixty-nine and one-half 'sevens' are not the tribulation.

 

Daniel 9:27

"He will confirm a covenant with many for one seven, but IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT SEVEN he will put and end to sacrifice and offering,"  It is only the last-half of the last-seven that is the tribulation. The last seven is the 70th Week of Daniel of which the last half is the 3 1/2 year tribulation.

 

Daniel 7:25

"The saints (which are the Jewish converts to Christ during the last-half of the 70th Week of Daniel) will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time (3 1/2 years)."

 

Daniel 12:6

"How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled ? ....I heard him swear by Him who lives forever saying, It will be for a time, times and half a time (3 1/2 years)."

 

The tribulation, which is 'the time of Jacobs trouble', BEGINS in the middle of the last seven-year-long '70th Week of Daniel',  therefore it IS the last 3 1/2 years of the 70th Week of Daniel.

 

THE TRIBULATION IS NOT SEVEN YEARS LONG - it is 3 1/2 years long!  

 

 IT DOES NOT BEGIN WHEN THE '70TH WEEK OF DANIEL' BEGINS -  It begins in the middle of the 70th Week of Daniel, and is the last 3 1/2 years of the 70th Week of Daniel!

Why do people who know that the Scriptures tell us that the tribulation is 3 1/2 years-long (ie. time, times and half a time) keep insisting that it is seven-years long ???
