"To Fay (re: your Feb. 28 posts to me) and all Doves"

Oh my goodness Fay, I laughed right out loud when I read about your weekend, how you were  trying to figure out certain numbers and their meanings. This whole number thing can certainly give us head aches at times. Even when we go to sleep, our minds keep going. The reason this made me laugh is because I have done the same thing. Your picture of a puzzle was great!  We are trying to put the pieces together, some fit, others don't.
Sept.2, 2009 is when God really started showing me things by using numbers. I would add and multiply trying to come up with a number that made sense. Sometimes it would almost drive me crazy!!
UNTIL one day God showed me a picture of a puzzle. Interesting that He used a puzzle. It was a "picture" of my life. Each individual piece had it's own unique shape, form and colors. Also each piece contained many other pictures within it. Many many pieces with many many pictures. Yet when the puzzle was completed, the only picture I could see was that of God my Father and Jesus my Savior smiling back at me.
You see, the puzzle is already completed. Each piece, with all it's uniqueness fitting together perfectly within  the next. There is nothing for US to figure out. God already has it figured out. He designed and made the puzzle:) God is a Great and Mighty, Loving  and Most Holy God, who deeply loves His children. He enjoys revealing things about Himself and His plans to us. And how excited we are when He does!!
So the lesson I have learned, is that the created must never jump ahead and proclaim "this is what the CREATOR  IS doing". We are limited by what we see. God reveals to us what HE wants us to know, nothing less, nothing more. In our minds we sometimes assume what we've figured out has GOT to be the right answer, only to find out later that it is not.
When God chooses to reveal something, it's done His way, with His timing. It will be very clear and often in a very simple way. There are times though, when He will bend our minds in ways we have never known before. I have found that these revelations often take a longer period of time. God knows exactly how much our brains can handle at a time. He has a starting point and will build on it, giving us time in between to process, before He continues. When it all comes together it is AMAZING!!!
I think so many of us are trying so hard to put the pieces together (myself included) that sometimes  we get frustrated.
God has an answer for that....... Jeremiah 33:2-3 "This is what the Lord says, He who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it -- the Lord is His Name: 'Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know" NIV
All we have to do is ask:)  Then let the LORD lead. He knows the piece He wants to show us and where it fits into His puzzle.
