"11"

11am on 29 April 2011 in Westminster Abbey, London.

This is when Kate & William marry - a Royal wedding.

It happens to be at 11 a.m. and this is the 11th day in the count of the omer, and obviously we are in the year 2011.

This has caused me to think quite a bit more about the number 11.  I have long thought it to be a number indicating seperation.  Lamentations is full of 11's.  Each chapter is a multiple of 11.  There are 66 books in the bible (6 x 11) and Revelation is 22 (2 X 11).  It really is an intriguing number.

I had written an article called "Gospel of the Digits."  I won't recap it all here, but suffice it to say that 6 is the number of man, followed by 7 God's number for completion, 8 for eternity, and 9 is the lifting up of the head ~ opposite of 6.  10 is the first of the double digits and is a fulfillment of "He (Jesus) must increase and I must decrease."  In this equation we must become the 0 and Christ becomes the 1.  Is it possible then that now that Christ is 1 and we are 0, that in the next number of the sequence He is joined by His bride "11" ~ possibly.

There are other thoughts of 11.  When Joseph was taken to Egypt there were 11 brothers.  When Judas betray Jesus then the apostles were 11.  Jesus appeared to the 11, and also left for Heaven while there was 11.

I found this scripture about Egypt and the 11th year in the book of Ezekiel:

   Pharaoh’s Arms Are Broken

 20 In the eleventh year, in the first month on the seventh day, the word of the LORD came to me: 21 “Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. It has not been bound up to be healed or put in a splint so that it may become strong enough to hold a sword. 22 Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt. I will break both his arms, the good arm as well as the broken one, and make the sword fall from his hand. 23 I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them through the countries. 24 I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put my sword in his hand, but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before him like a mortally wounded man. 25 I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh will fall limp. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he brandishes it against Egypt. 26 I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them through the countries. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”

Nissan 7 (1st month 7th day) this year is April 11th.

We just had a 8.9 earthquake in Japan (inital reports).  It is also intriging to me that 1989 is 22 years ago.  I had one of my most important spiritual foundational experienes at the Alaskan Oil spill in 1989.  I have felt that in my own life 22 years later (22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet ending in the Tav).

This is written regarding the 11th year of the rule of Zedekiah, and may have prophetic relevance in our time:

2 Kings 25

 1 So in the ninth year of Zedekiah’s reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army. He encamped outside the city and built siege works all around it. 2 The city was kept under siege until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.

 3 By the ninth day of the fourth[a] month the famine in the city had become so severe that there was no food for the people to eat.

Also the number 11 is present in Delilah's seduction of Sampson:

Judges 16:4-6 (New International Version, ©2011)

 4 Some time later, he fell in love with a woman in the Valley of Sorek whose name was Delilah. 5 The rulers of the Philistines went to her and said, “See if you can lure him into showing you the secret of his great strength and how we can overpower him so we may tie him up and subdue him. Each one of us will give you eleven hundred shekels[a] of silver.”

 6 So Delilah said to Samson, “Tell me the secret of your great strength and how you can be tied up and subdued.”

Also it is mentioned in regards to Jacob's sons when he crosses the river after wrestling with God:

Genesis 32:21-23 (New International Version, ©2011)

21 So Jacob’s gifts went on ahead of him, but he himself spent the night in the camp.

Jacob Wrestles With God
 22 That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. 23 After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions.

Genesis 11 is the tower of Babel. Are we about to see some form of this?  A gathering of people to one in rebellion against God?

Here is Psalm 11

Psalm 11

For the director of music. Of David.

 1 In the LORD I take refuge.
   How then can you say to me:
   “Flee like a bird to your mountain.
2 For look, the wicked bend their bows;
   they set their arrows against the strings
to shoot from the shadows
   at the upright in heart.
3 When the foundations are being destroyed,
   what can the righteous do?”

 4 The LORD is in his holy temple;
   the LORD is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
   his eyes examine them.
5 The LORD examines the righteous,
   but the wicked, those who love violence,
   he hates with a passion.
6 On the wicked he will rain
   fiery coals and burning sulfur;
   a scorching wind will be their lot.

 7 For the LORD is righteous,
   he loves justice;
   the upright will see his face.

Exodus 11 is the plague on the firstborn which sets the Israelites free.

Revelation 11 is the two witnesses.

I'm sure there is much more, but this is all I have for now :)
