"For Bill, re: Holiness, salvation, grace..."

Hi Bill and all Doves
Yes, my position is that sinning which we regret and repent of (no matter how big the sins or how long after the repentance is), will not cause us to lose our salvation.
However, pre-meditated renunciation of Christ and all Christian values, by whatever means seems to be telling the Lord that His gift of salvation is no longer wanted and, as in Hebrews 6 1-12, is apostasy, whatever flavour it has......
BUT!!!!!!!!.......   after having done more research into the origins of OSAS and its opponents, and the apparent wealth of biblical evidence for both positions, I must conclude in all humility that it would be very audacious of me to think I can see into someone’s heart and “know” that my interpretation of their actions will or will not allow them into heaven.

1Sa 16:7  But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Your brother in Christ
