"Ron - Randy West - Markets?"
Could this big earthquake be a tipping point? IT SURE WILL BE JAPAN!!
We shall see....
FYI.....there was no collapse in 2010. (I was right...)
But.....every year....every month.....every week....every day..... things can shift.
I am less confident now....(am now neutral to negative for the next few
months....we'll see...) than I have been for 2 years.
Between the problems in the Middle East....and now this earthquake in
the #3 Economy in the world....
I still agree with the guys a RaptureReady.com....... "NO big collapse, until the Rapture..."
However......things sure do continue to "line up" getting ready for
that event....ON EVERY FRONT...... economic, political, social,
and acts of God, with weather and earthquakes and all...yes?
By the way...... out of every 4-5 years....the market
will give you (typically) one GREAT year.....that would have been 2009,
the rebound year..... it will give you maybe 2 years of "ok"
returns..... 2010 was solidly OK..... that leaves maybe
2011? Then, be careful....assuming no Rapture.....
We shall see.....
By the way....I'm not a "raging bull".... I'm just trying to be a
realist along the way..... so far.... that's been working nicely for
me...!! All of the worst forecasts that came out last year in
2010.....were wrong (or early, depending on your point of view)
And, by the way......as I write this....oil seems to be moderating and
the US Dollar is still in the 1.30's relative to the Euro....and the
Yen is falling hard. I think the Yen is in trouble....and oil may
have peaked, at last for the moment.
Markets are dymanic....they change every day.... sooner or later EVERYBODY gets a chance to be right!! lol....
YFIC,
Randy
