"80's-90's Movies and TV Programs"

I find it very weird when I was growing up that all of the 80's teenage movies and other types of movies were made in Chicago.   Were we being conditioned through these crazy party movies that acting insane was OK, and to change our mind to be more liberal?   So we would accept Obama?

I used to watch Punky Brewster, Sixteen Candles, Wayne's World, Adventures in Babysitting, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Breakfast Club, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Blue's Brothers, When Harry Met Sally, The Untouchables, Home Alone, etc. all set in Chicago in the 80's......

And another thing I realized is watching the spin off show of the Cosby Show, it was called A Different World....in the 1990's we were conditioned to accept Black Muslims.    The show was set at Hillman College and there was a huge following of Malcom X and black men following Islam.

It is sad but all of the things I enjoyed as a kid, now my eyes are being opened as to what their purposes was.
