Hello,
John and Doves,
Brother Kevin, remember to look for signposts. A
tetrad of Blood Moons is a signpost.
Check
out NASA's eclipse site to look for the lunar eclipses for 2014 and
2015.
The
Jewish calendar in which you have a tetrad of blood moons (lunar eclipses)
occurring in 2014
and
2015 is the correct one. That is to say:
1. Passover, 2014
2. Tabernacles (Sukkot),
2014
3. Passover, 2015
4. Tabernacles (Sukkot),
2015.
Beware! There will be scoffers in the last days
saying, "Where is the sign of His coming?"
As you
say anything at all, they cut you off. Even some of the elect don't
believe in tetrads.
Let's
look at the facts. The disciples were asking Jesus, "When are you
coming back, and what
will
be the sign of your coming?" They probably asked Him, "Are you coming
soon?"
He
probably responded with a shrug, and said, "Eh." Then they asked Him,
"Will it be a long
time?" Instead of
deflating their hope by saying, "You have no freaking idea how long!"
he
said,
"ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."
(Matthew 25:13)
What Jesus meant is that they did not know the flow of
history--to say nothing of seventy
Jubilees [that's another story]. There was no way
they could keep alive the idea of the Lord's
imminent return for each martyr at the end of their
life, and yet divulge that the wait would
be many generations. The juxtaposition of such
thoughts would have driven them mad.
Jesus chose to enumerate
those things a Watchman should look out for. One of
them
is "signs in
the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars." [Luke
21:25]
In
HaShem,
Mike

"Is Passover and First Fruits in
March or April?"
John and Doves,
I have read some excellent studies from my friend Corey(CJ) lately concerning a First Fruits rapture. Here is one of the studies: http://pub37.bravenet.com/forum/static/show.php?usernum=3138553015&frmid=389&msgid=1135606&cmd=show
Now, depending on which calendar you look at, First Fruits(when Jesus rose from the grave) happens on either March 22nd/23rd or April 21st/22nd. The Rabbinical calendar, which was created sometime way after the Diaspora, shows the month of Nisan starting on April 5th. Passover starts on the 18th of April, with First Fruits on April 21st/22nd. Here is a link to see the Rabbinical calendar:
http://www.chabad.org/calendar/view/month.asp?tDate=4/2/2011
The Creation calendar, which is the calendar used in biblical times, including the time of Jesus's ministry, shows the month of Nisan starting on the 6th/7th of March. Passover begins on March 19th/20th, and First Fruits is on March 22nd/23rd. The link to this calendar is:
http://www.torahcalendar.com/Calendar.asp
The reason for the difference between both calendars is that the Rabbinical calendar adds Adar II this year, which is the 13th month. On the Creation calendar, Nisan occurs at the same time as Adar II on the Rabbinical calendar.
Which calendar will God use, when it comes to time for the rapture to occur? My vote is for the Creation calendar, but we will have to wait and see. See you in the air soon!
