"Richard Wills: Amen Brother!!!  & I do Disagree with Mr. Warner & Mr. Belanger on the PARABLE of the 10 Virgins"

Amen Brother Wills, WE ALL SHALL BE CHANGED!!!! All true believers, whether asleep in the grave or walking, will be changed, caught up TOGETHER, in the twinkling of an eye: that is those of us whom believe that Jesus died and rose again (1 Thess 4:14).  ONLY HE CAN MAKE US WORTHY WHO LAID DOWN HIS LIFE AND RAISED IT BACK UP AGAIN!!!!!

Mr. Warner and Mr. Belanger - Those five virgins who were without oil (representative of the Spirit of God) are those who thought they could get the oil (Spirit) from someone else and also thought they could go out and PURCHASE the oil (Spirit of God) with their own labors (Mat. 25:10).  Jesus said that they ALL (ten virgins) slumbered and slept while the bridegroom tarried,  only five HAD oil in their vessels.  The Bible makes no mention of their working to obtain or maintain the oil.

They like the foolish five slumbered and slept, but they had the oil (Spirit of God) within their vessel when the bridegroom came at the midnight cry!!!  Afterward came the foolish virgins who thought their chaste lives and fruits of their labors could get them into the bridegroom.  He said, I KNOW YOU NOT.

"Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I KNOW YOU NOT." - Mat 25:11-12 KJV

I ask you Mr. Belanger, does Jesus know His own or not?

"I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine." - John 10:14 KJV

Don't be wishy-washy, either you fully believe that only Jesus and His work and resurrection alone can make you worthy OR any person is capable of becoming worthy of salvation on their own.  Either be HOT or COLD.  Either He is fully capable of maintaining your salvation or He is not, meaning He needs your help to keep you worthy OR HE can lose His OWN.  Which do you believe????

"For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of ALL which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." - Jhn 6:38-40 KJV

Obviously, the work and resurrection of Jesus cannot be lukewarm.  Don't water down His work and resurrection with a tentative salvation.  Either He CAN and you CAN'T or He CAN'T and you CAN.

THEN once you have oil in your lamp, live worthy OF it as best you can.  To say you can achieve or maintain any semblance of worthiness so as to be in the 'first fruits' rapture while lesser Christians stay behind for the pass/fail test is ludicrous.

How is it possible to be a less-worthy Christian if it is Christ's blood and His alone that can make us worthy?????  PLEASE JUST ANSWER THAT ONE QUESTION!!!

Should we honor Christ with our good lives and works?  ABSOLUTELY!!!  Does it honor Christ's work to believe and espouse that we could somehow become unworthy enough to lose his salvation??  ABSOLUTELY NOT.  Is His salvation PERFECT OR NOT?  Don't be hot or cold.

Those left behind are the lost, including apparent Christians with NO OIL along with those outright rejectors of Christ:

"Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I KNOW YOU NOT." - Mat 25:11-12 KJV

Saved, Known and Kept In Christ by His Grace Alone,
