An interesting note: the writer here states that her dream was repeated. She had the exact same dream two nights in a row.  Now read the story of Joseph in Genesis 41. Joseph tells Pharaoh that because Pharaoh’s dream was repeated, the matter will shortly come to pass.  Genesis 41:31.

 

The Lord says in his word that the Holy Spirit “will show you things to come.”  John 16:13.   His Spirit communicates with his children via open visions (while you‘re awake) and also visions of the night (through dreams while you sleep.) He also tells us in his word that, in the latter days: “Your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams.”  Joel 2: 28-29.

 

Don’t let your religious bias cloud your judgment. If you never had a true encounter with the Holy Ghost (believe me, it can’t be faked and you’ll know it when it happens…you’ll be screaming about it for days)…then your knowledge is only second hand. For example: Unless you’re a NASCAR driver then you have no business telling Carl Edwards how to drive.

 

So, until you’re led by the Holy Spirit; know the presence of the Holy Spirit and know that He lives inside of you …you’re merely a spectator and not a participant.  Your “intellectual reasoning” is mostly useless and you are that person who buried his “talent” knowing his Lord to be a hard man who reaped where he did not sow. (the worthless servant.) Matthew 25:25-26.  You did nothing with his gift.
