"RE:"A desparate prayer
need...""
Dear Kathy,
I truly understand. I was diagnosed with Prgressive Multiple Sclerosis
almost 4 yrs ago. Unlike you, my body goes numb and my limbs jerk. It
tingles like when your foot goes to sleep. My doctor told me that I
would be permanently in a wheel chair in 2 to 4 yrs when I was first
diagnosed. That was 3 1/2 yrs ago. I'm typing this with one finger on
one hand and two fingers on the other.
I have been prayed over and anointed with oil but still am progressing.
I know that God can heal me. I pray that he does and can't wait for my
heavenly body! We are in VERY bad debt with collection agencies calling
daily, too(but they can't get blood out of a turnip), yet we still have
food and clothes. We might go into bankruptsy in April but I'm not
worried. We still have our Heavenly Father, our earthly family, and a
roof over our heads if it comes to that.
I have been married to a wonderful husband for 27 yrs and have 3 great
loving children who takes care of me. Yes, they are still my kids
because our oldest is just 19. They do all the housework and cooking.
I prayed and asked the Lord what He needed me to do for Him since I
have trouble getting my body to move to get out of bed. He let me know
that I could put Bible verses on Facebook and use it as a witnessing
tool. I can copy and paste so that helps.
I wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers as I am down to
typing with one hand now :) !!!!
I believe that you and I are still here because our Heavenly Father
knows that our families need us as much as we need them. They love us
and are willing to be there for us just as we try to be there for them
in our own special way.
Maranatha,
Carla Mason
