"TO: Lewis Brackett RE:
LAODICEANS & FOOLISH VIRGINS (23 March 2011)"
I think the 'Laodiceans' are representative of the 'foolish virgins'.
Scripture tells us that there is a 'cut-off or separation', and those
who are NOT READY will be left-behind:
"The virgins WHO WERE READY went in with him to the wedding banquet.
AND THE DOOR WAS SHUT.
Later the others also came. Sir1 Sir! they said, Open the door for us.
But he replied, I tell you the truth, I DON'T KNOW YOU."
Notice that the door was 'NOT opened a second time' to allow those in
who were NOT READY the when the door was first opened.
The 'rapture door' will be OPENED ONCE for those WHO ARE READY to
enter, but then "THE DOOR WAS SHUT" for those who were not ready.
We are told to be ALWAYS READY because there is only ONE CHANCE to go
through the 'rapture door'. Scripture also tells us, like the 'foolish
virgins' the 'lukewarm Laodiceans' are not ready.
"Therefore YOU ALSO BE READY, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour
you do not expect."
We are ready, so come Lord Jesus!
