"The statue that Daniel interpreted"

Food for thought.

The Dream of A Great Statue
"You, O king, were looking and then, there was a single great statue; that statue, which was large and of extraordinary splendor, was standing in front of you, and its appearance was awesome.
The head of that statue was made of fine gold, its breast and its arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.
You continued looking until a stone was cut out without hands, and it struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and crushed them. "Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were crushed all at the same time and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them was found. But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
(Daniel 2: 31-35)

"This was the dream; now we will tell its interpretation before the king. "You, O king, are the king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, the strength and the glory; and wherever the sons of men dwell, or the beasts of the field, or the birds of the sky, He has given them into your hand and has caused you to rule over them all. You are the head of gold. (Daniel 2: 36-38)

"After you there will arise another kingdom inferior to you, then another third kingdom of bronze, which will rule over all the earth. (Daniel 2: 39)
The Medes and Persians next conquered Babylon and Cyrus allowed the Jews to go home. He made arrangements to have the temple rebuilt. But the nation was still ruled by foreigners.

Belly and Thighs (Hips) of Brass - Greece (331-168 BC)
The Greeks under the leadership of Alexander the Great were the third conquerors.

Legs of Iron - Rome (168 BC - 476 AD)
"Then there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron; just as iron crushes and shatters all things, so, like iron that breaks in pieces, it will crush and break all these in pieces. (Daniel 2: 40)
Rome became divided into two empires.  The Western Roman Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire.

Map of the Ten divisions of Rome

The final world empire is represented by two feet made of clay mixed with iron.  Two feet that that may be represented by Western Rome and Eastern Rome.  Eastern Rome was based in Constantinople.

I have tried very hard to not offer my speculations, but have presented historical and prophetic writings for your own introspection and personal study.  For a very long time I have been personally drawn to a study of the two feet.
