Praying over the worldwide spiritual battle:

Pastors in churches – embolden in their teachings on current events and end times.  Remove weariness and refresh their hearts.  Awareness of the prompting of the Holy Spirit as to what their lambs need to hear through their teaching.  Boldness.  Wisdom.  Vision.

Egyptian Coptic priest Father Zakaria Botros, reaching 50 million Muslims a day via satellite television in the Name of Jesus. Pray for all the diligent workers among the offspring of Ishmael, let the Holy Spirit’s peaceful presence exude from them that others may see God’s redeeming love.  Let’s pray all of their ministries EXPLODE in the power of Christ!!  Pray for safety as they are hated for their message of freedom and salvation through Christ’s blood.  Pray The Word will not return void and that the heart of nations are moved to Messiah.

We can pray for the movie Damascus which is now showing in Syria.  It is the story of Paul and his conversion on the road to Damascus.  It sounds like it is being well received.  Let’s pray they hear the message of repentance, falling to their knees before Christ.  If you are holding fast to the imminence of the rapture,  that also is the imminence of the destruction of Damascus.  Pray for those souls to be saved.  Similarly, pray for those who have seen “Knowing” and have opened Bibles to research what that was all about from Ezekiel.

From L:  Regarding cars with Obama Bumper Stickers (actually any type gives an insight for prayer).  When stuck in traffic or on long commutes, pray for those drivers.  Pray for spiritual protection and that the Lord may reveal the truth to them.  She says she views the stickers as a cry for help – great insight.  This is just as true while riding mass transit.  Pray over those around you they will escape deception and gain truth.

The wonderful and blessed harvesters that are toiling now in the fields.

May we all pray on behalf of the 12,000 that will be sealed from each of the tribes!!  Beginning Wed/Thur the Jewish people pray for each tribe specifically, it would be our awesome opportunity to bring that days’ tribe before the Lord.  He knows those individuals whom He will seal.  Pray the seeds Christ is planting in their lives right now has rapid growth to a strong, sturdy branch.  Pray their lives will be filled with His joy beyond what we can comprehend.  That they are having their minds FILLED not only with knowledge of God, His grace and His mercy, but of testimonies and great joys as they are going to have to look back and hold onto that which is written upon their hearts to sustain them through the next years.  As they pray the Nasi let’s uphold the 144,000 before Christ’s throne of grace that they will begin to recognize God’s promptings and purposes for their lives.

Pray for the Beloved of God in their blessed land of Israel and His Holy City, that their hearts would be quickened to their true Messiah.  There are numerous Holy Days coming up which point to Christ and their Messiah – may they SEE Him and be redeemed by His blood.

As Satan’s time becomes shorter, the spiritual battle increases and becomes more oppressive.  Pray wounded souls would be covered in the healing Balm of Gilead.  Pray for empowerment and strength as Christian’s reach beyond their own abilities to endure.  Pray for believers entrapped in addictive sins, as Christ’s blood washes them clean they mount up with wings as eagles and claim the victory He offers.

Pray for the physical needs of nations and the abilities to meet those needs and protection of God’s people.  We think of the vast destruction going on in various places: flooding, drought, wildfires; pray for the workers as they minister to the victims of these catastrophes.  Pray those ministered to would be able to see the hands of Christ’s mercy and become attuned to His call for them to recognize Him as King of King and Lord of Lords.

Lord, we pray You would confound and confuse the plans of the enemy, destroying the opportunity and means for which they have planned evil. Protect and provide Your mercy over your children, please.

Our Lord alone is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent.  Alleluia!!!  We pray through His truth and His light, His precious HOLY Son would be seen as the only Name of victory and salvation in this failing world.

Things we can do:

Take our empty milk jugs and fill them with water and put them in the garage.  There will be someone who is in need of them.  Write scripture on the jug.

Leave testimonies throughout your house.  Print out some of the prime examples of current events and how God is at work, that is really isn’t chaos, but a plan, with His Victory!  And leave a note that you have been praying for them, the person who enters your domain because things have ‘changed’.

Another Dove:  Have a “Christ Responder” kit in your vehicle as more catastrophes occur we can offer his mercy.  I put in rubber gloves, towels, a sharp knife, antiseptic foam and plastic bags and lots and lots of prayer.  Any other ideas?

Buy an extra couple non-perishable items to stick on the shelf each time we go to the store.  Watch for what is on sale, if they get eaten, they are replaceable with something else.

SC:  Clean out the sin – leave a testimony of wholesome living, getting rid of books, music, dvd’s that will not enhance God’s glorious calling.  Pray when someone walks in they find the peace of Jesus that is in our homes.

James Daly said in the current FOF letter regarding current times (Not ET specific):  “Look for opportunities to share – and be real as we do so.   Take the time to look into people’s lives, acknowledge their pain and minister in the most meaningful ways.  STAY ON OUR LORD’S AGENDA.”  (Shouting mine :)

LOVE PEOPLE like there is no tomorrow.  Heal relationships where possible.  Encourage others to see God in the small things that they may begin to see Him in the big ones.  When God prompts you to say something to someone ~ SAY IT!

Find Ezekiel 33 moments.

An alternative protective weapon is hornet spray.  Sprays far, effects the nervous system immediately.  Can be transported in vehicles and stored anywhere.

Don’t allow the small demons of life to divide your attention away from where God is calling you.  Stay focused on His calling to witness and minister to the unsaved, it is easy to get over-focused in the global and national political fires starting.  Remember, the outcome is set, it is the individual man and his free-will which can be altered today.  Pray that our peace and confidence in these troubled times is noticed by others and allows us to share our Great Hope, Jesus.

If your heart leads you to things which can be added, please send me an email.  I am willing to facilitate adding/changing this list so John does not become overwhelmed and will send him updates for Mondays and Thursdays.

This is a spiritual battle, we need to be emboldened in our prayers for others, their salvation and their strength to endure.

And as our dear encourager, Samson, reminds us, “However we pray this not as we wish, but may the will of God be done! In Jesus' Name! Amen!
LIFTING JESUS EVEN HIGHER, AND SINGING HIS PRAISES TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH!”

Preparing to go home!!

I am a novice when it comes to knowing anything about Hebrew dates and their celebrations.  Input by others is appreciated!  This information is from www.chabad.org – a wonderful site to learn.  Many of these have multiple links for further information.

Nasi –Beginning Nissan 1, and continuing through Nissan 13, we recite the verses (from Numbers ch. 7) describing the offerings made by the "princes" (nesi'im) of the 12 tribes of Israel (see "Mishkan inaugurated"). Following the verses of the day's "Nasi," we recite a short prayer in which we say, "...if I, Your servant, am from the tribe of ___ whose section of the Nasi I have read today in Your Torah, may all the holy sparks and holy illuminations that are included within the holiness of this tribe shine upon me, to grant me understanding and intelligence in Your Torah and my awe of You, to do Your will all the days of my life...."

5 Nissan - Two days before the conclusion of the thirty-day mourning period following the passing of Moses on Adar 7 (see Jewish History for the 7th of Nissan), Joshua dispatched two scouts--Caleb and Pinchas--across the Jordan River to Jericho, to gather intelligence in preparation of the Israelites' battle with the first city in their conquest of the Holy Land. In Jericho, they were assisted and hidden by Rahab, a woman who lived inside the city walls. (Rahab later married Joshua).

7 Nissan - The Jewish nation mourned for thirty days following the passing of Moses. (During this time, Joshua, the new leader of the Jewish nation, sent scouts to spy on the land of Canaan, see Jewish History for the 5th of Nissan).  On the 7th of Nissan, the first day after the mourning period came to an end, Joshua instructed the Jews to stock up on provisions and prepare themselves to cross the Jordan river and begin the conquest of the Promised Land. This was the first time Joshua addressed the nation, and they unconditionally accepted him as their new leader.  The actual crossing occurred on the 10th of Nissan.

8 Nissan - The grand 180-day feast hosted by King Achashverosh came to an end on this day.  Achasverosh miscalculated the start date of Jeremiah's prophecy which promised the rebuilding of the Holy Temple after 70 years of Babylonian exile. When, according to his calculations, the seventy years had passed and the Jews were not redeemed, he orchestrated this grand party to celebrate the "demise" of the Chosen Nation. During the course of the party he brazenly displayed many of the vessels looted from the Holy Temple by the Babylonian armies.  (Esther 1 description)

8 Nissan - Following his 180 day feast for all his international subjects, which ended a day earlier, King Achashverosh began a seven-day feast for his subjects living in Shushan, his capital. This feast ended with the death of his queen, Vashti.  (Esther 1)

May we offer this word of exhortation: pray on, fight on, sing on! Press on into the deep things of God. Keep
your feet on the ground, but let your heart soar as high as it will!
