Oh dear - 'puter problems are just the worst aren't they?  One thing to do would be to find out if your sound card is compatible with your speakers ( take it in to a pc shop and they should soon be able to tell you) - it may just be a case of replacing the sound card and then investing in some relatively cheap compatible speakers.
I REALLY want you to hear those audios also - as I know you are wishing....wishing...wishing!!!
