Hey Diane and Kevin,
 
While the pictures look somewhat similar, I don't think it's the same person.  Maitreya has lighter skin and bobo has higher cheekbones and Maitreya's cheekbones are flatter and lower on his face in addition to the narrower nose. Plus Maitreyas eyes are slightly closer together than the eyes on bobo's face.  FYI..  Still both are creepy.
