I’ve had the good pleasure to attend DW’s Church in the Theater district in Times Square in NYC very close to where they drop the ball on New Years Eve. It is a beautiful area surrounded by some of the finest Broadway theaters in the world. It is also a very harsh area filled with pimps, prostitutes & some of the most down trodden homeless you’ve ever seen. Although I live in So Cal where some of the most gifted Pastors in the world  preach (Chuck Smith, Greg Laurie, Mike McIntosh etc) I was blessed to go to Time Square at least a dozen times over the years. The circumstances weren’t the best as my Mom was dying of advanced Leukemia and was at Sloan Kettering in  NYC. Pastor Wilkerson gave some of the most inspired messages to his church during that time, and they seemed directed especially for me. They ask any visitors to come to the front and I was laid hands on and given so much relief and support by that.I remember  although it was over 13 years ago singing a simple song with the choir which was accompanied by a full orchestra, Zephaniah 3:14 and dancing up and down the aisles. I believe my Mom was miraculous healed the next day. She has since gone home to be with the Lord but I will never forget the kindness his Chuch and body showed in my hour of need.
