I recently came across a book that was published in 2006 titled “The Scroll of Biblical Chronology and Prophecy” in which the author states that “The institution of the Jubilee corresponds to the occurrence of natural economic cycles” and “Economists call this natural cycle the Kondratieff Wave”. He also has posted the entire book online at http://www.torahtimes.org/book/. The section on the “Economy of the Jubilee” includes some very interesting observations as the author compares the Jubilee years with the Kondratieff Long Wave theory which clearly show that a major economic downturn is just around the corner.

I have attached a pdf file of page 80 of that book which includes a chart showing the Jubilee years superimposed on the Kondratieff Long Wave. The significant part of this chart and which is further borne out by the text is that the economies of the entire world are entering a period of serious contraction. All of this is consistent with what we are observing in the world marketplace and the stock market. I think that this material would be of interest to most 5 Doves readers and would encourage them to read from page 77 through page 83 at the web site referenced above.
