"On Passover Eve, The Messiah's Bride Accepts His Cup: Of Redemption and Marriage"

Passover Eve and Passover Day are annual premiere times to remember and be grateful for The Atonement. The Messiah gave His life onto death, so we could be forgiven our sins, reconciled to Abba Father, and obtain eternal life in His and Abba Father’s eternal kingdom. What is the relationship context each Passover Eve? It is the wedding relationship of the groom Messiah and His Bride. Specifically, there is the Wedding / Marriage Proposal according to The Ancient Galilean Wedding Model. In it, there were ways for the chosen bride to accept the proposal to become bride or to refuse. She could refuse in either of 2 ways: say no and refuse the cup of wine of which the potential groom had just partaken. Or it could be handed back without saying a word. Either choice was no. Refusal to become his beloved bride beginning that day. There were 2 ways to accept. One was to say yes and then immediately take the offered cup and drink from it. The other was to take the cup, say nothing, and drink from the cup. Either choice, the beloved bride accepted the proposal, began to be the bride, and their marriage began. This was NOT engagement, but the earliest stage of wedding and marriage. It began pre consummation marital intimacy, for a period of about a year.

On Passover Eve, during the last Passover Seder of His life, who were the First to be offered the Messiah’s Bride Cup to accept or refuse? “This is the cup in my blood…” were the words of The Ancient Galilean Wedding Model. The proposal was made to whom? Offered to the 11 Galilean closest disciples, His closest male friends! Was Judas there? I doubt it. Each of the 11, without saying a word, took the offered cup and drank from it. Yes times 11! The Messiah told each of them to drink to (REMEMBER ME) from cup 3 of the 4 cups consumed during the Passover Eve Seder. This cup has a name since long ago: The Cup of Redemption! If individuals CHOOSE to drink from The Cup of Redemption each year and recite in faith the Messiah Bridegroom’s words, each agrees to be part of the Bride of Messiah. And to eat to (REMEMBER ME) of the Unleavened Bread relating to His Body. Body and Blood to be ANNUALLY REMEMBERED on Passover Eve. His Bride Began that Passover Eve! The Bride Price (Ransom) was agreed to during His agony at Gethsemane. It was paid in full, one time for each and all of humankind, at Golgatha on Passover Day. Only John of the 11 of His Bride was there at Golgatha, Only one faithful bride of many. Of the 11, 10 in fear and terror of arrest, torture, and death, abandoned the groom. Easy to be the Messiah’s Bride? Think again.

The evening of 3-27-2021 will be Passover Eve, a Saturday night, for Israel, North, and South America. It will be the evening of 3-28 for those countries far back on the 24 hour grid. These are Torah Calendar dates. On the special Shavuot (Pentecost) 10 days after the Messiah’s Ascension, the Spirit of Truth began to indwell the Messiah’s Bride. The Fruit of the Spirit, according to the Book of Galatians Chapter 5 are the following: Love, Peace, joy, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control. On that distinctive day, The Community in the Messiah Began! His Body of the redeemed in the Messiah was dramatically increased in beautiful miraculous ways. But His Bride began FIRST at Passover Eve. Bride, then Community.

Who wants to be part of the Messiah’s Bride in 2021, drink from His Cup of Redemption? He offers His Passover Eve Bride Cup (Cup 3) each year, and The Unleavened Bread, to either begin to be His Bride or to renew one’s bride commitment. The emblems remain the same, unleavened bread and grape juice or wine. A communion ritual with grape juice or wine and cubes of LEAVENED white bread are NOT what He asks us to consume to remember Him annually. We lose the truth of “ bruised  with the stripes of affliction” and the “pierced for our iniquity” if we substitute leavened bread for unleavened! He is The Manna From Heaven and THE UNLEAVENED BREAD! THE UNLEAVENED ONE! It is actually easy to make unleavened bread, unleavened crackers. All you need is regular flour or wheat flour, and water. Then, piercings by a fork, and toaster oven or oven to bake the squares or rectangles of unleavened crackers. Then you see what He wants you to SEE: the dark stripes (bruised) on the tops of the crackers, and the piercings. In a real sense, you SEE HIM in His Sacrifice and Suffering, bruised and pierced! You do not have to buy commercially made matzoh / matzos! What will Passover Eve, The GREAT Anniversary of The Bride in Messiah, be like on the evening of 3-27 or 3-28? We shall know soon.

With Love and Shalom,

Jean
