"April 26 Rapture and the NFL draft"

Cutler winded up being a very good draft pick nice move that particular year by the Broncos.  All the Cowboys need for next year is another go to Receiver, a backup running back and a nickel back (Pacman Jones) so they can beat David Molinas Giants!!! :-)

Tony heh heh this was cool man thanks!!

Alls I gotta to say to the Doves is “How bout them Cowboys”

A little fact about the Cowboys:

“Texas Stadium has a hole in the roof so God can watch his favorite team” (D. D. Lewis)
Texas Stadium has a famous hole in the roof. Dallas Cowboys linebacker D. D. Lewis joked in 1982 that it was because God wants to watch his favorite team.

TJ,
I too am a fan of the NFL draft.  You have to be a fan to enjoy watching something that can be as “dry” as the draft.  Its good on the doves to share these things – you never know when someone else has the same interest.

I am a Broncos fan and my favorite draft recently was two years ago when they moved up to draft Jay Cutler.

I’ve been told that I relate everything to prophecy and its probably an accurate assessment.  I think the draft has some things to learn from that for those who are interested God could be speaking into our hearts.

You see on draft day, the players are chosen by the team and not the other way around (way different than college recruiting).  I feel this is similar to how God chooses us.

Many times when a team is considering a player they may call them ahead of time.  But many times they have no idea or there can be false alarms.

The teams need to keep there intentions secret since other teams may then pick the very player they are targeting.  This reminds me of how Jesus comes for us as a thief in the night.

Then finally the team makes its selection and the Commissioner takes it to the podium to make the formal announcement.  For fan favorite picks there may be cheering.  Usually in the team rooms there is always cheering when “they get their guy”.  Next you see the player on the phone with the head coach or owner.  Soon after this they are hurried to a private jet where they are flown to be directly with the team that very day.  Then there is all the hoopla of a media conference where the player gets to share there testimony of how they got to this point of such a great honor to be selected by an NFL team. This all reminds me very much of the Rapture!!!

TJ, even though I’m not a Cowboy fan I’ll give you a “How bout them Cowboys” anyways as my brother!

YBIC,
Tony
