Well yes - now that it out on the table.  I had written the following, hopefully somewhat cryptic but not too cryptic message on that idea that was part of my post "John the Baptist - Conclusion" which should appear the same day as this reply on Five Doves and is now by itself in this post.
 
The antichrist
Some of this is surmising, although based in Scripture, but wanted to document ONE scenario, possibly for the benefit of those left after the Rapture.  This is also a footnote since I brought up Solomon and because I devoted part of a book discussing him, following the only vision I've ever received, which was the name S6L6M6N composed of golden gilded snakes suspended in front of a crimson background.  The antichrist that will be received by the Jews as Messiah who is yet to be revealed, I believe will only be accepted after he shows the Jews that he is a descendant of King David, through King Solomon, on his father's side.  That will establish his kingly right.  The Bible documents that Jesus was believed to be of such a descent from Solomon through Joseph.  Although in all truth, as the Bible also points out, His bloodline does not actually include Joseph, who was only His stepfather.  The Bible also documents His true lineage which came through His mother, who was also a descendant of King David, but through Nathan.  Just remember, Nathan is good, Solomon is bad.  What also may be expected, is the lineage to the antichrist to go through the union between King Solomon and the Queen of the South, the Queen of Sheba.  It has been surmised that both the male child of this union, and the Ark of the Covenant, were taken by the Queen of the South, back to Cush, for safekeeping.  Others, such as Ron Wyatt, claim the ark of the covenant, or at least the mercy seat, is below Golgotha in a chamber.  And don't bother writing letting people know that Ron Wyatt was a crackpot.  Just reporting what he said.  Regardless, it would not be hard to surmise that the antichrist would present to the Jewish people their Ark of the Covenant, when the time is right for him to set himself up as king.
 
Before the antichrist's appearing on the world scene, one will come to pave the way for the antichrist, who will be proclaimed as coming in the Spirit of Elijah the Prophet, or even as being Elijah the prophet.  He may even be the cousin of the antichrist as John the Baptist was the cousin of Jesus.  As Elijah caused fire to come down from heaven and consume his enemies, so will this man.  Speculation is that this fire will be guided missiles, which will actually come down from heaven and consume his enemies.  Keep in mind that this is the false prophet, not the antichrist.
