In regard to seeing 3:16

Obviously, the most famous scripture in the Bible, the most recognized by non-Christians, is John 3:16

 

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

 

So what is God trying to tell you?  Obviously He is sending you a message.  Maybe faith?

 

A side-note.  When I was a teenager one of my other favorite verses and one that is also memorized by many as it is a proof-text for the inspiration of scripture, is:  II Timothy 3:16

 

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  II Timothy 3:16
