In the military, when we were planning an action, we used what is referred to as backwards planning. You knew what time you wanted to be on the objective and you reversed your planning of events and time allotted all way back to your start point. It is quite effective. I had stated in letters that I could not determine the actual date, but using creation week as a foundation and pattern, we should be able to tell the day of the week. Using this backward planning technique, we should be able to calculate a date using scriptural guidance (example). People seem to get excited and work better if they have some date of expectation, even if it is only a planning date.Reviewing the Preeminence of the Week, the Days of the Week and the Pattern:Day 4 was the day identified in Genesis 1:14-18 as the day God created the sun, moon and stars and set them for signs and for days and for years. He made the greater light (sun/Son) to rule over the day and the lessor light (moon/bride) to rule over the night. (Note: she reflects the light of the sun/Son). Both not only had the right to rule, but also to divide. We know Jesus Christ will come to rule as Lord and King, High Priest and High Judge. The bride will reign with Him as kings and priests during His 1000 year kingdom. On day 4, God created His celestial calendar which marked a definite time period in which He would deal with Satan and his rebellion. This battle began in day 1 when God created light, but let darkness remain. God divided the day and the night giving each half of the 24 hour period. Satan had declared he would ascend on high and take God's throne. A battle loomed for the right to rule and this calendar set a time period in which it would be settled. And the day was divided by the evening and the morning. Marking the exchange, God gives us a daily flaming/fiery sunrise and sunset. In this week we see day one as prominent marking a beginning and day 7 as a conclusion and perfection. Day 4, the cardinal midpoint of the 7, stands preeminent as a divider and the heir in right to rule, as well as a calendar sign. This middle 4th candle is also seen preeminent in the Menorah which lit the inner tabernacle. It not only provided light, but also a pattern. The middle candle not only divided the other 6 candles, but contained the oil which fed them fuel. It is a pattern which God showed Moses on the mountain. It is the same as the as the 7 candles before the throne. John sees Jesus standing in the midst (middle) of the candles. In all these examples, you note a 1 - 4 - 7 pattern with the middle dividing 4 preeminent.God does not operate haphazard. He set a pattern here in day 4 and He holds it all way through to the final battle with Satan in Revelations. God is the author of perfection in every detail. God's word is His law, every word of it, and Jesus said not one tittle of it would fail. Get one thing straight. God's word is not a collection of opinions and thoughts of prophets and kings. God never made a promise or blessing He did not keep, nor did He set a pattern which He does not fulfill to the last tittle.Jesus was a descendant of Judah, the 4th born of Jacob. He came at the end of 4000 years, the end of the 4th day. John the apostle, the foreshadow bride, was the 4th disciple chosen. There are a multitude of 40 day/year periods in scripture. Ephraim, the blessed son of Joseph, was blessed 400 years. He will enter a 7 year curse. In the middle of this period, Ephraim will stand in agreement and in covenant with Death and Hell. Ephraim's 7 year curse is bracketed by the rapture of the bride and the death/resurrection of the tribulation saints. You can see this in Revelations 18: 4 & 23 and Isaiah 28: 4-5 & 25. In both cases the rapture of the bride is noted in a verse 4.In the seals of Revelations, the 4 represents the divider, dividing the 10.5 years into 3 sets of 3.5 years. It is also seen in the battle for right to rule. The antichrist and false prophet (Death and Hell) come to power at the end of the 4th seal, following the 4th horse (Rev 6:8). They rule the middle 3.5 years of the seals. It is at this time God sends the two witnesses. Elijah will battle the antichrist (first beast) as he did King Ahab and Jezebel. Angels will preach. The antichrist will establish the mark and terminate the tribulation saints during this middle 3.5 year period. It is a big time battle over right to rule.Satan is thrown out of heaven in Revelations 10. In verses 6-7, an angel announces time should be no more and the mystery of God should be finished. The calendar of day 4 is coming to conclusion. Time is running out on Satan. It is here, Satan knows his time is short. He embodies the false prophet and takes over as the Second Beast at the end of the 4th trumpet. He kills the two witnesses and they are resurrected with the tribulation saints. This begins the final 3.5 year period in which Satan is given his most powerful demons for the climax battle. God will pour His vials of wrath and Jesus and His angels will defeat Satan. Can anyone doubt that Jesus died on a day 4 Wednesday. His death on the cross marked His victory. It was at this point Jesus had won the right to rule. He then went to the Father to get Himself a kingdom. John 19: 14 & 31 tells us Jesus died on a Passover Preparation day (the day you kill the lamb) and the day that followed was a High Sabbath, i.e. a most holy feast day, the Passover. It was not a regular 7th day Sabbath. You can see in the seals of Revelations above that Satan still contests the right to rule and it revolves around the number 4.I believe this pattern contained in the days of creation week happened exactly the same during the Passover of Moses' day and again at the death of Jesus on the cross. (What has been shall be, what has been done will be done, there is nothing new under the sun.) The 7 days of creation week are preeminent in the calendar. They have not gotten out of sync since Adam. Jesus recognized the 7th day as the Sabbath when He came. It has not been lost since. The lunar and solar cycles do not contain even weeks by God's purposeful design. This sets up a problem between the perfection and importance of the days of the week and the lunar calendar.Pondering the problems with establishing the date:Last night, God kept me up burning my mind about the date and other related things. I told Him several times, I was too tired to think and wanted to go to sleep, please. The day was just not that important. Finally, I just got up and got out my Bible. He led me through a series of scriptures. The things I noted were Abib was the beginning of the sacred year and Passover Preparation day was to be the 14th, but no where could I find how to establish the first day of Abib. Yea, I know about the new moon, but this in most years leads to a Passover Preparation day other than Wednesday. Something seems amiss. Setting the first month seems to have been carried forward through the Levite traditions, but specific guidance is not found in our 66 books of scripture. At least I couldn't find it.The next thing God reminded me was that the gentiles never had to bear the responsibility of OT rituals, traditions and feasts. They could eat anything except drink of the blood. When Jesus established His New Testament church with His disciples at the last supper, He changed this Passover meal into a Lord's Supper and told them they could do this as often as they wished. For 2000 years, the bride has been free of these rituals. Yes, we recognize Resurrection Sunday, but this date only occasionally matches up with the Jewish Passover dates. In most cases I would trust the Jewish calendar more than the Pope, but I will say that at least the Christians recognize the correct day of the week for the event. If we know and recognize Resurrection day as Sunday, then Passover Preparation day ought to be the Wednesday before. By God's design, it can't be any other way. But, the problem is we don't know which one. What pieces of the puzzle do I have to work with?Well, that's great. I can see all the reasons I cannot reconcile the lunar calendar, so is that it? God seemed to give me a couple clues, but they were not scripture, so I just filed them away and He let me drift off to a good sleep. When I woke up this morning, I am going to assume it was Him who said use what you have. You have what you need. So I began to ponder. We have the sign of the Fig Tree. We know when the 41st stripe falls. We have the example of the 40 years in the wilderness and how they entered the Promised Land 5 or 6 days prior to the 41st stripe (depends whether counting inclusively or no). We have the 7 + 7 pattern in which the 3 events of the rapture must take place. We know that if we establish Passover Preparation day on a day 4 Wednesday, then Second Passover Preparation day must be on a Friday, the midnight cry (resurrection of the dead) must be that night and Second Passover celebration that Saturday, Sabbath. This day would then be a regular 7th day Sabbath and a High Sabbath Feast day. It would be most holy and special.Well that led to a little chuckle. We Christians haven't been too good about keeping the Sabbath day holy, nor any of the most holy ordained feasts. I do believe God will have our attention on this one (smile). I bet we get the Feast of Unleavened bread right too.The 41st stripe of the sign of the Fig tree will be June 5-10, 2008. The Israelites actually conquered E. Jerusalem, Gaza, West Bank and the Sinai on the 8th of June, but they did not conquer the Golan (Syrian) Heights until the 10th. Since this war started on June 5th, we will use that as our objective back planning point. We can receive 41 stripes, but not 41.Calculating Events Using Backwards Planning:Ascension Day must fall on a Thursday as it did with Jesus and the OT saints, but we see in the Isaac/Rebekah example in Genesis 24:63, that Isaac saw Rebekah coming on the camels at even tide. The closest we can come to the foreshadow example is a Thursday, 29th of May. (In the evening would technically make it Friday the 30th). The changing would take place 7 days earlier, on a Friday/Saturday, 23/24th of May. The midnight cry would take place 7 more days early on a Friday/Saturday, 16/17th of May. The Pentecostal outpouring on the left behind Tribulation saints would be Sunday, the 8th of June.Backwards planning using scriptural guidance (example) from a 41st stripe of the Sign of the Fig Tree (5 June 2008) leads to the following best possibility dates:*Midnight Cry (Resurrection of the Dead): * Friday evening/Saturday, 16/17 May 2008.[7 days Feast of Unleavened Bread, trimming the lamps: 17 May - 23 May]*Changing of the living wise to immortal: * Friday/Saturday, 23/24 May.[7 days of joy, anticipation, exchange between the changed and unchanged virgins]*Ascension of the bride: * Thursday evening, 29 May.[10 days anguish, crying, praying, fasting, asking for the Holy Spirit by the left behind virgins]*Pentecostal Outpouring on the Left Behind: * Sunday, 8 June.[The first seal of Revelations opens and the white horse begins to ride][The 7 year curse upon Ephraim begins]Now, it seems to me that God has given me a couple more signs today that might confirm that, but I will keep it to myself and just remain in wonderment. I know it is this spring. I am sure it is close to the sign of the Fig Tree. I am no prophet and see only in part as do others, but the clues lead me here. Under no circumstances will I do anything other than encourage each and every one of you to watch each day. Never let yourself think that God has delayed or that you have time to detour off course. A week each side of this is surely possible. I would concede that it could be as early as mid April.Be ready and Be worthy. Take nothing for granted. As Doves, you are watchers and have responsibility to warn others.Steve
