I noted your comment, and Pastor Riley's, about the possibility of
natural disasters, caused by God, removing America from the end-times
scenario..

Another take on this is in the book called Earthquake Resurrection.
It's by David, but I forget his last name-- I'm getting to the point of
near-memory fading, I am afraid.  David makes a well-supported case
that the energy required to raise the dead will cause such earthquake
havoc worldwide that few will notice the rapture which follows the
resurrection.  David points out that every resurrection in the Bible
was accompanied by an earthquake.

I don't usually buy books, to save money, but I did get this one from
Amazon.com, which had the best price.  David is a scripture scholar and
uses scripture to back every point.
