I think that most watchers for the rapture realize that none of us can know the date for sure. All we do is theorize from looking at the signs around us - Jesus said we can KNOW when the time is near - we know that all the signs He spoke of are around us. I don't think our theorizing by looking at what is going on in the world and our own thoughts and input has anything to do with being egocentric. I have looked at 3/21 for various reasons, but I am aware that 3/21 may come and go just like any other date, and that does not bother me at all. My "fleece" may not mean anything - I only posted it because God gives bits and pieces of His revelation to one here, one there and another in a different place - like a large puzzle that is eventually put together. Many of us looked at Tabernacles 2007 and the summer of 2007 and Spring of 2007. We are now looking at Spring 2008 - because we are watchers and because we have on our "helmet of hope" - and by faith believe it is soon. What is faith?  But the substance of things hoped for. I am certainly not "overconfident" in any calculations I have made. I'm no math expert.   Quite the opposite - I have stated more than once that 3-21 may come and go just like 3/20 may come and go without any major happening.  I have received no "revelations" and am no prophet that is for sure. I am merely a watcher, like the rest of those waiting for His appearing. I believe this is exactly what 5 Doves site is all about. If we can't intensely watch and look at one date over another and signify that we are indeed are NOT prophets when doing so, why bother coming to this site at all and why post? That is what all of us are doing, looking at reasons why one day might be better than another - we are not setting dates in doing so - we are waiting, watching, wondering - LOOKING at why we think one day MIGHT be preferable. We have seen many such days come and go and will see more come and go - but ONE day - it will happen and one thing many of us will not be accused of - no one will say that we are not WATCHING.
