I am sorry but....This is not to argue with you or any other believer. This is about HONESTY.Jesus KNEW how to count. In MT 12 : 40 He spoke of the ONLY sign He will give them . In other words : He told them to LURN HOW TO C O U N TIf they wouldn't consider the counting of days... Jesus went a little further as to use JONAS ' exemple. Jesus used Jonas ' incident to explain the counting of HIS staying buried. If someone cannot count what Jesus clearly said , then... the sign would be for other WHO knows how to count.A day starts with a night ( Gen 1 ). The LORD is Jesus and He is the ONE ( JN 1 :1 - 3 ) who created everything.Luke 24 : 6 - 8 The angel told the women to remember how Jesus had already told them about his resurrection. V.8 ... the women REMEMBERED how to count.He knows how to do things and how to think. He wanted in MT 12 to show these people that sign to prove He was what He said HE WAS. (EX 3 : 14 )Luke 1 : 2 - 3 Luke wanted to write in an orderly account the events that took place and made sure to record the perfect understanding of things.Luke 23 : 54 The body of Jesus was taken down and put in the ground before the GRAND SABBAT ( JN 19: 31 ) high Sabbath.Luke 23 : 55 the women saw how the body was placed. V 56... they prepared spices and fragrances.... NOT ON A HIGH SABBATH . It was prohibitted to do all kinds of work. They had to REST like any other on that special day. Now the opinion of a FRIDAY doesn't match. Because of the end of the Verse Luke 23:56 ... and they rested after having prepared the spices ... they prepared it the day after the HIGH SABATH. They prepared it on friday, workable day and then, they rested on the Sabbath according to the LAW. ( EX 20 : 8 ). This is the saturday observing.Read this again LUKE 23: 54 - 56 and you will see TWO Sabbaths. ONE high and the other according to the LAW.The HIGH SABBATH is not according to the law in EX 20 :8 ... it is according to the feasts in LEV 23 . The feast of unleaven bread immediately following the Passover.The friday believe comes from a religion who did not pratice and obey / or observed the SABBATH day ( saturday : 7 th days of the week ) but they observe the 1 st day of the week ( sunday ) . So when their scholars saw the word SABBATH they said = Saturday... but never saw the high Sabbath of the first day of unleaven bread spoken in LEV 23 . A religion that do not recognizes the feast of Unleaven Bread following the real Passover , one cannot understand this truth about TWO kinds of sabbaths.If it cannot be understood.... it cannot be taught. Then comes other MAN-TEACHINGS like : cannot eat meat on fridays, cannot have beakfast before communion , sunday worship of EASTER resurrection, etc... Easter is a feast to honor the godess ISHTAR . Nothing to do with CHRIST JESUS., etc...etc...One has to be honest with the scripture. I myself , was long ago , a believer in the friday until I made a study of the scripture and as LUKE , I wanted to be exact with the TRUTH. I had to face it and change my way of thinking. Untrue calculation had been taught to me and this brainwashing was anchored in my brain.GOD , one day , openned up my heart to the truth and I had to say like Jesus. I am glad that I saw this S I GN given by JESUS Yeshua.One has to let go what is a TEACHING of man and turn to the real and only PRO the real LEADER.= YESHUA to find the truth cause He is the TRUTH.I will end this note by saying : If someone doesn't want to let go of their OLD things said ( but not proven ) , but wants to hold on what is not true....Then Jesus told a lie by saying 3 days and 3 nights. Jesus didn't want the people to be mixed up in using words like = the 3 th day or something like part of a day is alright and such.No , Jesus went a little farther than saying JONAS' example. He went on to explain exactly HOW to count.He could have walked away after saying : LIKE JONAS'INCIDENT, THE SON OF MAN WILL IN THE GROUND LIKE JONAS. period. . But NO ! Jesus spoke of 3 days & 3 nights.One has to be HONEST.A christian will not be judged by Jesus and lose his salvation over a calculation. This is only a point of FAITH in Jesus ' s words and teachings.This should not be a point of arguing... but WE should use the WORD and let the WORD be the truth. KNOWING Jesus , is to accept his words as the TRUTH.My believe is like the gospel tells it : I calculated 3 days and 3 nights exactly as the scriptures tell me in my Bible and came up with WEDNESDAY had to be the afternoon that YESHUA , Jeus died and buried just before sundown wednesday , before the High Sabbath written in JN 19 : 31 .Had to rise from the dead on saturday night after sundown. In this manner , one can count like Jesus wanted us to count and RECOGNIZE the only SIGN . that He would give to UNBIEVERS. ( in other words ) ... lurn how to read what Jesus SAID.Each and everyone of us , we have to pray that GOD opens up our mind and spirit to the truth and let our faith grow.Faith comes from what we hear , and what we hear comes from the words of GOD. WE have to stay firm in the words of truth until HE comes.Praise the LORD Yeshua.
