"Pentecost or Rosh Hashanah?"
The seven feasts of God prophesy each step of
God's plan of redemption, and ends with a Jubilee year. Each step will
be, or has been fulfilled by Jesus. If we go to Lev. 23, we will see all
seven feasts in their order.
(1) First on Nisan 14th is Passover which starts in the
evening of the 13th immediately after dusk, Lev.23:5. Jesus was crucified
in the afternoon of the 14th and put in the grave fulfilling Passover.
He had to be in the grave before dusk which changed the day over to Unleavened
Bread on the 15th.
(2) Unleavened Bread is on the 15th, but starts
in the evening of the 14th immediately after dusk, Lev. 23:6-8. Jesus fulfilled
Unleavened Bread by going into the heart of the earth, preaching to the
spirits in paradise (1 Peter 3:18-20), took the keys of hell and death
away from satan, fulfilling this feast.
These first two feasts are dated, so like your birth
day, they will not always be on the same day of the week but will always
be on the same day in the month Nisan.
(3) The 3rd feast is First Fruits and is not dated, Lev.
23:15-17. It is on the first Sunday after Passover and begins in the evening
immediately after dusk on Saturday, Matt. 28:1. This is a harvest
feast and it prophesies the first harvest of souls from the grave. Jesus
fulfills the Feast of Firsts by being the first of the first fruits to
ever come forth from the grave, then the many saints he preached
to came up after him, and was seen by many. 1 Cor. 15:20; Matt. 27:52-53
This is how he made a show of the devil openly.
On this feast day we must start counting the 50 days
to Pentecost, another harvest feast that is not dated.
(4) Pentecost is 50 days after the feast of First Fruits.
It begins in the evening of the weekly Sabbath immediately after dusk which
starts the first day of the week, Sunday. This is a feast of a double nature,
it began with a trumpet blast as all feasts do. The Holy Ghost was sent
partially fulfilling this feast by opening up this Pentecostal age of grace,
also called "the Times of the Gentiles, " or "New Testament Church."
That was the first trumpt. This is a time of working in the wheat fields
with the anointing of the Holy Ghost. Pentecost is the wheat harvest feast.
Jesus will complete this feast by the catching away (harvest) of his wise
virgins (co-rulers) on Pentecost. That will be the last trump ending this
special time. This feast has not been completely fulfilled yet but soon
will be.
(5) The feast of Rosh Hashanah is a dated feast that
falls on the first day of Tishre, the 7th month on God's sacred calendar.
It will be fulfilled by Jesus when he returns from heaven with all the
saints to stay. He sends his angels to gather together his elect (Israelites)
from the fore corners of the earth back to their land by angels, and they
see their Messiah, Matt. 24:29-31. He will fight the battle of Armageddon
by speaking the Word. The armies surrounding Jerusalem get so confused
they turn on other. The first day of Tishre is the beginning of the ten
days of awe, days of returning, days of weeping and repenting, Zeck. 12:9-10.
(6) The Feast of Atonement ends the ten days of awe on
the 10th of Tishre, Lev. 23:27. Also see Romans 11:25-27, where they
are atoned for and be saved,. At the end of each 50 year cycle Jubilee
year will also start on this particular day of Atonement. See Jubile note
below.
(7) Five days after Atonement, the Feast of Tabernacles
Jesus will fulfill this feast by holding the greatest banquet the earth
has ever had. It is a seven day feast. On the first day and again on the
eigth day Jesus will hold a holy convocation, which is a worship service.
Notes on Jubilee Year:
Lev. 25:8-10 Jubilee year prophesies rest, restoration,
returning God's people to their lands, possessions and families. This can
only be done when Jesus returns to stay. No man is able to do this. Jubilee
year must come at the end of the 7 yrs of tribulation when Jesus returns
with all the saints from heaven to stay. That will happen in the fall of
the 49th year of this 50 year cycle, making the 50th year the Jubilee
year. At the end of the Jubilee year the first year of the 1000 year millennium
will begin.
I have this charted on a 50 year Jubilee chart. There
are many details within these feasts that are extremely important to Christians.
Why? We see in Matt. 25:1-13 that not all go when the bridegroom comes.
Also, scripture reveals this will not be a surprise rapture, and what will
wake up all the virgins, and how to know if you are a wise virgin or not.
He wants you to know. The "can't know" theory is a doctrine of man, not
God.. Read Matt. 24:35-36. It is about heaven and earth passing away, not
at all about the rapture.
