I believe that the resurrection and translation of the saints is going to follow the same order as the Lord's death and resurrection.
 
The scriptures tells us that,
 
"Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father..." (Rom.6:4)
 
The Father is in Him the way our souls are in our bodies.
 
We begin to understand that the Father dwells in Christ and Christ in turn dwells in our souls through the presence of the Holy Spirit.
 
For we read,
 
...and what is the exceeding greatness of His (the Father's) power toward us who believe, according the WORKING of His mighty power which He worked IN Christ when He raised Him from the dead. (Ephes.1:19,20)
 
We see in the above verse that the Father had to work in order to raise Christ from the dead.
 
When did He start the work? How long did He work for? And when did He complete the work?
 
To answer these questions, lets first read what Paul says about the rapture.
 
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a SHOUT..."
 
This will be during the Last trumpet (1Cor.15:52)
 
I believe the Father started the Work on the cross through Christ with a shout.
 
"And Jesus cried out with a LOUD VOICE, and breathed His last." (Mark 15:37)
 
This was when the FIRST trumpet sounded.
 
The Lord died at 1500 hours on the 15th of Nisan 34 AD.
 
He rose from the dead at 0300 hours on the 17th of Nisan 34 AD. this was also when the LAST trumpet would have sounded.
 
Which means the Father had been working for a total of 36 hours. This was 3 days AND 3 nights simultaneously.
 
Many have not understood that the Lord's very Person is represented by the 3 Days and His body in the tomb is represented by the 3 Nights.
 
This is why Paul says,
 
"But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all SONS OF LIGHT AND SONS OF THE DAY. WE ARE NOT OF THE NIGHT NOR OF DARKNESS." (1Thess.5:4,5)
 
Through the Working of the Father in Christ, Divine Light and Life continued to increase in the very Person of Christ over the 36 hour period. At the same time death and darkness was being removed from His Body which was in the tomb.
 
When the Father's work was completed, at the Last Trumpet, on the 17th of Nisan 34 AD at 0300 hours, Our Lord rose from the dead in His Glorified body. I believe the rapture will follow the same pattern.
 
If I have understood correctly, on the 21st of April, at 1500 hours (Jerusalem time) 2008 the First trumpet is going to sound. I believe at this point the Lord will start to pour out His Holy Spirit into the hearts of all those who are going to be raised up and translated.
 
This work will continue until the Last Trumpet sounds on the 23rd of April, at 0300 hours (Jerusalem time) 2008. at this point I believe the dead will start to be raised. After that those of us alive will be translated into our glorified bodies.
 
This is how I see events unfold.
