I was clearly quoting someone, and you should be able to tell it was Steve since you had read his recent posts.I think a generation is 40 years, according to when Israel was in the desert, or, 48.33 years according to Mt. 1:17.I think 40 years LEADS UP TO the Pre-Trib Rapture and the 48.33 years leads to the Pre-Wrath Rapture.1967 + 40 = 2007 and 1967 + 48 = 2015.Right now, we are BETWEEN the end of the 40 years that have passed and the 1st Rapture, which is in the near future. I think the First Rapture will be on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread this spring, Nisan 21, 5768 (April 26, 2008). Why?Nisan 21 is when the Israelites were given Jericho AFTER THEIR 40 YEARS WERE OVER. God had them circle Jericho 13 times in all and 7 times that last day to emphasize Nisan 21. That was like drawing a circle around Jericho on a map for us. Circling Jericho 7 times the last day, blowing trumpets and shouting all mark the day.Compare the SHOUT and TRUMPETS with 1 Th 4:16,17. It says, "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven WITH A SHOUT, with the voice of the archangel, and WITH THE TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."Compare the 7 circles with the 7 rings of Heaven, Saturn. Josephus, a Pharisee priest, showed that the lamps on the Temple Lampstand stood for the orbits of Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn (Ant. III. VI. 7).The 6 semi-circles of the lampstand arms stood for the orbits of the planetary bodies that orbit Earth, the middle lamp, the only one NOT represented by a semi-circle. Saturn is the third heaven Paul was caught up to, i.e., Mars, Jupiter and Saturn (see II Cor. 12:2).I think the 1st Rapture will be Nisan 21, 5768, April 26, 2008.I think the 2nd Rapture will be Tishri 1, 5776, Sept. 14, 2015.Time will tell whether I'm right or not.HOLY FIREApril 26, 2008, happens to be the same day this year that the Holy Fire is to decend again in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, as it has done for centuries on the Orthodox Holy Saturday, the day before their Easter, figured on the Julian calendar that was used in Jesus' days.In their ceremony, the Greek Orthodox patriarch CIRCLES Jesus' tomb THREE TIMES before entering the tomb to receive the blue Holy Light (that later turns to Holy Fire) that rises up out of the slab Jesus lay on. I wonder, does that suggest that the Holy Fire is coming from the third heaven? There is lots of information and many pictures of the Holy Fire on the Internet, even videos on utube, the best way to see the blue lightning and the ball of fire moving around on its own to light lots of the olive oil lamps and candles in the church. People also light their candles from the Holy Fire brought out by the patriarch. Search on Google and several files will turn up.Also, I just found out that the Governor of Colorado has proclaimed April 26, 2008, a statewide day of prayer. This particular day will also be kept by groups gathered at stadiums, etc., in other states across this nation and in Washington, DC.Wouldn't that be a great thing to happen on the day of the Rapture? People would see great numbers of people going up at the same time. What a witness to the foolish virgins that would be. Be ready (I John 1:9).In the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, the Holy Fire and Holy Light generally come out about 1 PM, although it varies a bit. The Holy Light comes first and doesn't burn faces or hair. After awhile, some say 33 minutes, it becomes actual fire. Outside the tomb, but inside the church, there is a flashing blue light they call lightning. It is something like sheet lightning and flashes here and there against the walls. Many that see the Holy Light and Holy Fire come away changed.In John 8:12, "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the LIGHT of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
Will Jesus, the light of the world, come down at the same time the Holy Light and Holy Fire come down in his tomb and in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem on April 26, 2008?
Is this why the Holy Fire has been coming down on Holy Saturday in this church for centuries? Is this April 26, 2008, what it is all about? what it was pointing to for all these years since Constantine built the
Church of the Holy Sepulcher? the Rapture? It sure looks that way.Agape,
