Eze. 38:18-20 is talking about the Day of God's Wrath. Verses 18 and 19 say, "it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that MY FURY shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of MY WRATH have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel". The asteroid of Rev. 8:8 hits the Mediterranean Sea. That stops Gog's army, and with the impact of Satan's asteroid Wormwood (Rev. 8:10,11), every wall will fall worldwide. The cities of the nations will be shambles in that day. It is the Day of Jacob's Trouble.
 
Rev 16:18.19 says of that day, "there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was A GREAT EARTHQUAKE (i.e., worldwide), such as was not since men were upon the earth (something similar happened before men were on Earth, but not since until the Day of God's Wrath), so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city (Jerusalem) was divided into three parts, and THE CITIES OF THE NATIONS FELL: AND GREAT BABYLON came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of HIS WRATH."
 
Isa 47:3-6 says, "I WILL TAKE VENGEANCE, and I will not meet thee as a man. As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts (i.e., Jesus Christ) is his name (Isa. 44:6), the Holy One of Israel. Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans (Babylon): for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms. I WAS WROTH with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ANCIENT hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke."
 
The "daughter of the Chaldeans (Iraqis)...The lady of kingdoms (plural)...upon the ancient (Israel, etc.) hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke" fits ancient Babylon, who under Nebuchadnezzar took over Israel. It does not fit the USA, who has not laid their yoke upon ancient Israel. In those days, Israel did not even know that the North and South American continents existed (Columbus sailed in 1492), much less the USA (born in 1776).
 
Jer 50:17,18 says, "Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones. Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land (now Iraq), as I have punished the king of Assyria" (also in Iraq).
 
Nebuchadnezzar is named. He scattered Israel in ancient days. How can this apply to the USA?

Jer 51:2,6 is talking about the Day of God's Wrath, It says, "And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE (i.e., day of Jacob's trouble) they shall be against her round about....Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for THIS IS THE TIME OF THE LORD'S VENGEANCE; he will render unto her a recompence."

Jer 51:11 says, "Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for HIS DEVICE (THE ASTEROID WORMWOOD, the flaming sword of Gen. 3:24) IS AGAINST BABYLON, to destroy it; because IT IS THE VENGEANCE OF THE LORD, the vengeance of his temple" (burned by Nebuchadnezzar's forces).

Jer 51:25,26 says, "Behold, I am against thee, O DESTROYING MOUNTAIN (Satan's asteroid Wormwood), saith the LORD, WHICH DESTROYEST ALL THE EARTH: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks (i.e., the Asteroid Belt), and will make thee a burnt mountain. And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD."

Jer 51:42 says, "The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof." On the Day of God's Wrath, the Earth will be turned upside down. That causes the sea to come upon Babylon.

Jer 51:49 says, "As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth." All nations will have deligates present in rebuilt Babylon in that day. 

Jer 51:64 says, "Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from THE EVIL THAT I WILL BRING UPON HER (on the Day of God's Wrath".
