Jim and Marie -
     Thank you for your wisdom re. defining the Christian Right.  I totally agree with you - just needed someone to word it well for me.
     TJP and Scott -  I wish the acts of war did not need to be - but because of the sin nature of man and demonic influence of so many of our enemies, it is necessary.  In the long run, it is the kind thing to do to protect the innocent.
     Remember in the Old Testament when God (and that would include Jesus before he came) told Joshua to take the land of Israel and kill all those wicked people who were descendants of Ishmael - children and all?  At least the children could be saved (before age of accountability) It was brutal - but that is what God told him to do - and Joshua had a difficult time obeying God about killing some of them.  Remember when God told the singers to go out before the army.  And there were angels helping.  But they still had to fight.  There is so much in the Old Testament about God protecting his land- but having people work with Him.
     And I think that is why He has blessed the United States for so long - because we have been a blessing to Israel.  Pray that we continue to be.  And "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.  They shall prosper who love thee."
