Apostle Paul was humble. He said,

Galations 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

How different this sounds from Ronald Weinland who says,

So what is the truth? This book is the truth! It is one of the primary things I do appreciate about the job God has given me. I am simply to state the truth as it is. I do not have to spend endless hours defending it, debating it or expounding upon it. The truth is simply the truth, and now, you can begin to see it more clearly and respond if you have any desire or hope to receive favor from God in the time of destruction that is almost upon us." Pg. 51

No, the Word of God, the Bible is the truth. We are to test all things. Even Apostle Paul did not put himself above everything else demanding to be the final authority of all truth. Even Jesus tells us to search the Scriptures! John 5:39

Now let me skip ahead to the end of Weinland's book to show you his most grievous error of all. He says of Jesus,

"Jesus Christ became part of the God Family - He became a God being." pg. 158

Weinland goes on to say that Jesus has not always eternally existed and is a concept given to us by the doctrine of the Trinity. He says on page 210 -

"The Bible is quite clear about the fact that the ETERNAL [Yahweh] God [Elohim] is the Father of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was begotten directly of the Father, and He (Jesus) had no life until His beginning when He was born of His mother Mary."

This is WRONG! The Bible says that Jesus said,

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Ronald Weinland accepts Herbert W. Armstrong as God's "Elijah" to come. That is what Herbert promoted himself as. Herbert also claimed to be a prophet. And Herbert said that he would not die before the Second coming of Jesus Christ. Herbert W. Armstrong is dead. He was a false prophet. So this Ronald Weinland who claims to be a prophet himself embraces a false prophet.

When he attacks what he calls "Traditional Christianity" he claims that they believe all different things. I differ with this. Mainstream Christianity teaches the same basic tenets of the faith. They differ in many minor areas, but they don't differ on the deity of Jesus Christ! Cults do however, like Mormonism and the Jehovah's Witnesses and Armstrongism. Ronald Weinland tries to reduce Jesus down into a mere mortal that became God. That's what the New Agers believe!

A Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Foursquare gospel, Assemblies of God and on and on, have many MINOR differences. Not a difference that is essential to salvation! Not in who Jesus Christ is! And no, we didn't get it from the Catholic church either!

Infact, Ronald Weinland is more like the Catholic church in that he is teaching that he is inerrant! The Catholic church holds that what the pope says is inerrant and that the pope's words are above the Bible. Ronald Weinland has set himself up like a mini pope!

He does not point to Jesus Christ. He points to himself. Listen to what he says here:

"It will be during this time that Satan and his followers will be allowed to wreak havoc and torment upon those who have not yet repented and humbly turned to God's end-time prophets for understanding." pg. 126

Here's another thing he says which is off -

"Traditional Christianity teaches that God has been desperately trying to save the world. No, he has not! This is not the time for judgement and salvation to be offered to mankind. God intended salvation only to the 144,000..." pg. 170

Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost. Jesus came to save sinners not just an elite group. Jesus offers salvation to all.

John 3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

He also attacks the Holy Spirit-

"The holy spirit is not a living being." pg. 203

Here's yet another attack on Jesus Christ,

"In addition, Jesus Christ was not the ETERNAL [Yahweh] of the Old Testament. Indeed, Jesus Christ has not eternally existed." pg. 210

Ronald Weinland is a false prophet that followed the false prophet Herbert W. Armstrong. Thank God that the successor to Armstrong, Joseph Tkach repented of these grevious errors and led the people out of this. (That was the link to the movie). Although I disagree with Tkach on minor issues he has done a good thing in repenting and coming to the truth. Weinland comes from one of the many splinter groups that formed that refused to respond to the gospel. Ronald Weinland teaches another gospel. The only ones Ronald will be capable of uniting are the New Agers under the unbrella that we can be Gods. The Mormons fit in quite nicely. He can also get the Jehovah's Witnesses that attack the diety of Jesus Christ. He can unite with Muslims who teach that Jesus was just a mere prophet. Perhaps he can unite other falsehoods under his umbrella that teach there is no eternal hell and no immortal soul.

While I think observing Saturday is a good thing. I will not join a cult to do so. I will not swallow lies and disregard my Bible. I love the truth. People like Weinland were prophesied to come, people who try to drag others away from the truth. But, I have a love of the truth. He will not sway me.

2 Thess. 2:9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

I hope you will consider all I have said and search the Scriptures to see if these things be so.
