Miracle: Crippling Swelling Healed  #583

Painful swelling was a problem in my feet, ankles, and lower legs (everything below knees) for seven years after my full cardiac arrest and death of body.  It was odd that I had no swelling during the nine years of declining health before that as is common among cardio-vascular patients.  I could not wear my shoes or boots.  The swelling was always there and my feet and ankles were ugly red.  They swelled so much my skin stretched out until it was smooth and shiny.  They hurt so much I did not want sheets or blankets on them at night.

We bought a pair of cheap shoes, a pair of cheap hiking boots, and a pair of cheap sandals, all four sizes larger than my regular size.  I preferred the sandals.  They hurt less.  I was wearing the sandals in church when the miracle happened.  Many of us went forward and a line of pastors and elders plus the visiting teacher prayed for us as we passed by.  Twice small groups of them stopped me and prayed intensely.

I returned to my seat, but remained standing and prayed for people after me who wanted prayer.  This continued for three or four or five or six or seven minutes.  I do not know how long because my thoughts were totally about prayer for the others.  Suddenly, my thinking was interrupted.

My feet felt different.  I looked down at them.  They were shrinking.  The swelling was going down as I watched.  I was so surprised I just kept staring at them.  Several minutes later I walked back up front and showed everyone me feet and how the sandals were much too large.  I took one sandal and sock off and said: "Look! I have ankle bones again."

You could not see my ankle bones before the miracle healing.  It was truly amazing to watch the miracle happen quickly.  It is medically impossible for huge swelling to go away so fast ever in anyone.  Several different doctors had treated my swelling with many different medicines during the seven years, but no results.  Proper prayer as described in The Bible produced results which last today, one year and five months later.

I take the sandals along when I teach at churches and colleges.  I put them on there so people can see proof of how huge my feet were then.  Praise Father God YAHWEH and His Son JESUS that they love us so much that they heal people who learn and obey their instructions.
