Dear friends:

Just before Noah's flood, God says, "The world was filled with violence" (Genesis 6: 11,13).

Jesus said that when He returns it will be "as it was in the days of Noah" (Matthew 24:37).  The correlation is clear.  When Jesus comes, there will be inordinate violence in the earth.  In the Hebrew, the word violence carries the meanings of cruelty and injustice.

There have always been violence and wars, starting with Cain and Abel in the Garden of Eden, but there may have never been a time since the flood like today with so much senseless killings, with many victims being innocent people, with the method of execution so gross and merciless.  A spirit of murder is on a rampage in the world.  Islam is a main instrument, but not the only one.

It seems like every week there is a new murder of students, both college and high school.  For example, just this week, two beautiful young coeds were gunned down senselessly at Auburn University and the University of North Carolina.

Also just this week, eight young Israeli students were mercilessly gunned down in Jerusalem by a crazed Muslim.  Muslims actually cheered.  (In a display of a total lack of news priorities, my local newspaper carried a very brief story on this on page A-15, whereas a totally meaningless story about a golfer accidentally killing a hawk occupied major front-page headlines, no doubt to satisfy the politically correct bird loving society.)

Muslims are good at blowing up innocent people, including babies.  It has been going on for decades.  They are bloodthirsty. 

Oh, forgive me -- I should have said radical, terrorist Muslims and not the moderate, peace-loving kind who only celebrate when infidels like us are killed.

But Americans are also good at killing babies, with some 50 million slaughtered in the womb since Roe v. Wade in 1973.

As to Israelis, how long will the Israeli government put up with such continuous murder of its citizens and rockets falling on its cities?  How long before they strike back, viciously, and hard.  They seem fearful, no doubt fearful of pressure from George W. Bush, Condoleezza Rice, and the wimpish European community.

On the radio last night I heard an Israeli scholar say the main cause of reticence is the increasing influence of the Israeli political left which, as with its American counterparts, is not even convinced of their nation's rightness or right to exist.  Typically, they are secular Jews who do not even believe their own Bible or that their history was divinely ordered.  With no conviction, they want to compromise with and placate the devil, just as the American left does.  He also said that with Olmert, Israel has the weakest leadership it has ever had.  All this is ominous, with the increasing threat from Hamas on the south and west and Hezbollah on the north, and of course Iran.

Let America be aware: This is an example of where left-wing politics can lead.  Remember that Jesus said that the sheep will be on the right and the goats will be on the left.
