Laura, that is basically correct but I would add that the term
"Christian right" is a media invention typically used as a slur
against Bible-believing Christians who are pro-life, pro-marriage
between a man and a woman, and other biblical matters.

You almost never hear the media refer to the "Christian left,"
although they are probably more in number. The Christian left
typically is pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage, etc., and have
added the doctrine of "global warming" and environmentalism to their
sacred creed.

I do not agree with "tjp" yesterday when he says that the Christian
right is a corruption of real Christianity.  They are just people who
vote with their Spirit-guided conscience.  But I do believe the
Christian left is such a corruption because its stances are typically
anti-biblical.

Also, "tjp" is not correct when he says Evangelist Rod Parsely wants
to kill all Muslims.  That is a gross distortion of what Parsely
said.  He said the religion of Islam, not Muslims, should be
destroyed.  We should all agree with that statement.  Islam is a
cancerous evil of death and destruction that is spreading across the
world with its tentacles everywhere, now in Europe and the U.S.  If
it is not stopped in its planned global conquest, it will take over
the world.  Rod Parsely is one of the few who has the courage and
boldness to tell the truth and not be intimidated by political correctness.

Eventually, we know that God will destroy Islam and its false god.
