"The Earth's Mostly Lost  Population"

Hello,

Frank Molver and Chuck Holler have had posts discussing the World population, and how it pertains to Christianity.

According to Encarta, the estimated Earth population as of February was around 6,679,493,900.

Below is a web link to Wikipedia, concerning the topic of the World population.
In there, is a global density map and pie chart  near the bottom that is interesting.
The largest population densities on Earth are the Far East (mostly China and Indonesia), and central Asia, (mostly India).
Those regions obviously being areas where the Gospel and Christianity is right next to being nonresistant.

The third largest  population density area is Europe, where Christianity isn't nonresistant, but now mostly dead; which to me is disconcerting for those folks..
The World at large, is  right now truly a lost World in terms of Salvation by the Gospel.

Unfortunately, there is a large segment of the World on the wide highway to destruction.
Based on the various Bible parables, the ones walking in the narrow way just cannot be that many and also even based on what the Lord Jesus spoke  about it in His own Words.

Matthew 7:13-14

7:13  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

7:14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

So 3 in 10 is probably really pushing things.
The best possible scenario would be the one taken and one left parable, in terms of pertaining to Salvation; which will require something real big to happen yet.
That's what I think.
