"The Passing of Paul Scofield"

Dear John and all doves,
I was saddened to read about the death of English actor Paul Scofield. Since seeing his Sir Thomas More years ago on film, it has been a great pleasure to experience his acting. The day he died I was thinking of his More and praying for him and his family. There are many times I have prayed for the family Scofield. Will they be in the kingdom to come? I hope they will. His life and legacy mean much to me. Please pray for his widow Joy and son Martin and daughter Sarah. Paul was devoted to them.
Some of the things about his saint/martyr Thomas More are about how he does everything he can to elude becoming a martyr. I believe there are profound things to contemplate in A Man for All Seasons. Am I willing to be a martyr for my master, The Christ/Messiah? If so, why? This issue will be very timely soon in a period of intense testing and tribulation. It is well to consider it now. Bride in Christ/Messiah now or martyr later?
Paul was especially fine as Otto Frank in a made for television film called The Attic. These were two stories of  great depth of spiritual values both believed and vibrantly lived. I hope to see Paul in the kingdom come. May there be even better times before him and his family. I will be grateful for this man, his life, his work, his family, his devotion and love beyond the parting of the veil for him. He has passed over into eternity with style and grace.

With Love and Shalom,
