There are times when I feel very melancholy and even sad about life here. I feel like detaching from the things that the world entices us too. I was drawn to a kind of a kids fantasy painting of Noah's Ark with a rainbow above it and the scripture below it re the rainbow. I realize that God says it will be like the days of Noah, people will be eating, drinking and marrying, then comes the flood. Many of us here think that we will go during a war, an earthquake or whatever. I suspect not. It may be just a normal day. I am thinking that the Lord is calling us to detach from the world that pulls us away from him and prepare ourselves to meet him.
