"baptism, tithing, communion etc."

I would like to add to the baptism discussion. These were things the Lord told us to do. Be baptised, take communion in memory of me until I come and support the those who minister the Gospel. If one decides they do not want to do these things I would say they have a problem with following the Lord's instructions. Baptism is more then just a ceremony, it is a public profesion of faith. If you deny me before men, I will deny you to the father. Communion is not just a ceremony to reflect on what Jesus did for us, but to examine ourselves and repent of any short commings. If we refuse to do that it would indicate a disconnect with the one we supposidely surrendered our life to. Tithing indicates we want to support the spreading of the good news of Jesus and the care of others. How could we just keep it to ourselves and think it is someone elses job. If you can't evangelize you could at least assist some one else with your finances. This one reminds me of the servant who buried his talent to himself and was called worthless.

Just 3 things in a list of several. Would Jesus come for a bride who did not care to follow instructions or care that he died for others. I think he will be comming for the ones who hear his voice and follow his instructions.
