I wonder, were the Israeli's offended when the prophets prophesied against Israel? Come to think of it they were, that's why they never took them seriously, even up till the end. They thought of all the good things their nation did, and overlooked the sin, no matter how gross.
 
If we overlook the sin of our nation what does that mean about us? Well look at what all the other nations are doing! No, we are different in America. God has blessed us abundantly, like Israel. And we have been a blessing to the nations, like Israel. But God has a saying. To whom much is given much is required. Anyone older then 50 can easily see how much our nation has deteriorated morally. The churches in general have become very week and worldly. Therefore, like the Israeli's of old, we can not hear God very well anymore.
