Folks, we are responsible each one of us for understanding the bible. It is not complicated. It says what it says. Do not let anyone talk you out of the meaning the Holy spirit is convicting of you. You can not say to Jesus, so and so said this is what the word says. That is not an excuse.
 
Jesus warned us about pillow prophets who speak to you smooth things. like, you do not need to prepare and be ready for his coming and everyone will be raptured that has ever said the sinners prayer. If that were the case then Jesus would not have said, "Be ye Holy for I am Holy". He would have said. You don't have to be Holy because I am Holy. Paul would have never admonished Christians to forsake their old life style, to prove they are of the faith. Why would he do that if we are everything WE do is works?
 
Don't listen to these deceived people. Anyone who would lead their brothers to sin by distorting the word will not be raptured. If you listen to them you will not either. Don't be fooled. Prepare for the wedding. Pharisees thought they were Holy, they did not think that they needed to deal with anything on the inside. So too these folks today are telling you to ignore the Holy Spirit when he convicts you of sin.
 
Ephesians 5 Paul is speaking to Christians here.
 
But among you there must not even be a hint of sexual impurity, or any type of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Not should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For this you can be sure: Nor immoral, impure or greedy person-such a man is an idolater-has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on the disobedient. Therefore do not partake with them.
 
Could it be any planer? You have to make the right choice, you can't continue and live the old way, there is no excuse. Choose to forsake the world and follow Jesus.
