I see it is very conveniet for some to dismiss the message of the 10 virgins parable because it doesn't fit their theology. So what parables do apply to Christians? The 10 virgin parable was given right after Christ explains what will happen in the last days before his return. Probably the warning to be ready because we do not know the day or hour of his return does not apply either, because, well according to this theology we are all ready who have said the sinners prayer. This would mean that the message to the churches in revelation are also dismissable. You see he is telling them to prepare and to repent of certain sins, he is telling these various churches with their various maladies to repent, to be ready. So I guess he is just talking to non Chirstians that happen to be part of his church, right? I am so confused.
