Hi John & All:
No doubt we all have heard by now of the tragic terrorist act which took place in a Jerusalem Seminary on Thursday. While reading through more coverage of the event, I came across this interesting - if not prophetic - comment made by a Rabbi from Jerusalem:
Israel on alert, Gaza braces after Jerusalem killings
JERUSALEM (AFP) - Israel was on alert and Gaza braced for reprisals on Friday as crowds mourned eight teenagers killed by a Palestinian gunman at a Jewish religious school in an attack claimed by the Islamist Hamas ....
Thousands of people, many clad in the traditional black attire of Orthodox Jews, long curls hanging down from their kippas, attended an emotional funeral ceremony at the school Friday.
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" a rabbi cried out, choking with emotion.
Wow .... quite an interesting quote. I wonder if he realizes the one Who spoke it is even now reaching out to them?
See ya in the air,
Eric
